My Icon Tredwell boots have given up and started leaking at the toes today.

Time to start looking for a new pair of waterproof road boots w/ armor for commuting. If anyone has suggestions, I’m all ears. Good waterproofing and protection are a must.

FWIW, grabbed a pair of A-stars Belize Drystars and they've been dry and cozy all week with rain every day except this morning's ride into work

my last two weeks summed up in one word: wet

Can't really complain too much about riding in wet mid 40s in January though since there's been no days cold enough for ice in the mornings so far. That might change next week though

I got in some riding the last 2 days.
It was great to get out again.

The roads were relatively free of sand.
Not bad considering all the snow we've had.

Daytona Supercross is going on right now. Cooper Webb is leading the heat race.

Getting ready for the dirt season to get into full gear.
Did a fork service on the WR today and I was unsurprised to find that the forks were way low, the oil was garbage and the left fork damper rod wasn’t connected to the cap properly. All rectified and ready to go.

We've had a feral kitten move into our garage. The little bastard loves to get its paws muddy then climb all over my bike. I managed to get the bike washed yesterday.

Planning an April 4 day trip with a couple of friends. It will be nice to road test my new Russell Day Long seat.
