Time for a valve check on the dirt scooter....only one exhaust valve is out of spec but two of the shim buckets have some excessive wear. Cam lines look fine and it's running great so I'm going to replace them before adjusting that one exhaust.
Local dealer wants $44 per bucket! Dang. Going two new oem on eBay for 25 each.
Found a good deal on a 2 season used 2020 Sherco 250 SE Factory with a bunch of choice aftermarket upgrades to an already nicely spec'd bike from the factory. Prior owner had the suspension professionally dialed in for his size which happens to be the same as me. First time I've had a bike with a Lectron carb and it's pretty decent. Took it out in the woods last weekend and it's incredibly easy to ride.
It's great to be back on a 2 smoker!
This also lets me make the WR450F more dual sport friendly and I have several events I'm going to run it in this season.
I've got a larger CS sprocket to install this week to get the road revs down a little at 65mph.
There's an alley sweeper event coming up in two weeks so that'll be a hoot.
