So, with all the goals being scored so far this Cup, mighty Brazil plays Mexico to a scoreless tie? I bet the natives are getting restless! :i:
 
That is the worst Brazil team I can remember seeing in a very long time. A million attacking midfielders and still virtually no creativity.
And Fred and Jo as the striker alternatives, well that's just piss poor.

They'll have to step up significantly to win this.

So far, Germany the clear favourites imo. That could be entirely different in a week though.
 
I only saw a bit of it at the gym but I saw 2 magnificent saves by the Mexican goal Ochoa. I think it could have easily been 2 or 3 nil. They were things of beauty
 
The Australian deeeeefence will be no match for Holland's goalbackers. Their main goalbacker is called Percy. He's got the top stats in offense kicking. He's from England but plays for Holland because he went to college there and the English goalbackers play mostly with head goaling and he prefers kick goaling. He converted an amazing head goal in the last matchup though. It was so good it was worth 5 points.

Brazil are looking absolutely wank just now. I'm off to Cancun a week tomorrow and although I never thought I'd see it, there's a good chance they'll get out of the group at which point me and my brother will be sending the sister in law and my missus on a shopping trip while we hit up some local boozers to support the locals :thu:
 
I have never been much of a soccer fan. Used to go to a lot of indoor soccer games when the San Diego Soccers were completely dominating the old MISL. Almost a different sport entirely though.

That said, I have watched a few matches this week and was entertained.

That late goal by Russia to tie vs Korea was pretty intense.
