Achtung! Sooooooooooo any of you guys interested in the international sawker cup?

Getting worse for Spain...looking like they won't get out of the round robin.

My Chilean friend at work is going to be over the moon otoh

Time for them to let go of a lot of those older players, possibly Del Bosque as well.
They do have a lot of fantastically good younger players, so they could do very well already next World Cup.

Really did not see them deteriorate this quickly though. They won the Euro 2 years ago and got to the final of the Confederations Cup last summer.
That's quite a sensational decline. :embarrassed:
 
I havent been able to watch either of their matches but I never would have predicted an 0-2 start. I didnt necessarilyi expect them to win or dominate but didnt expect that. Teams have figured out their style of play.
 
Spain losing isn't that big of a surprise to me...how they lost is that was incredibly shocking. They had a great run but they are getting on and I think the better teams have figured them out by now

All the US sports shows talk about the US being in the group of death but Spain/Netherlands/Chile/Australia is as much or more so a group of death. I would think that Spain could thrash Portugal (I don't think Portugal is really all that good and without a healthy Ronaldo much less so)
