NFL 2017-18 Thread

Eagles overcome a sluggish start with the loss of 2 starters and dominate the Niners 33-10.
We are 7-1 with Denver next week.

No time out's. Get back in and finish it!

Just finished watching. What a game! Would like to see a better line, and better running game. But how about that game manager of a quarterback we have!?

Watson was hot too. Not quite as good judgment, and 3 picks. But pretty amazing. He should have a great career.

That last TD was a gift by the suddenly inept Texans' defense.
Gotta play the whole game. And well, taking a sack then throwing into coverage didn't help either. And RW has proven to be very good in terms of last minute heroics. For some reason, it seems to help him focus.

Losing some of the players they lost on D might have something to do with it. Then again they now have an offense which they didn't previously. I listened to the hype and did not start Deshuan Watson on my FF team...rookie QB, in Seattle, Legion of Boom...blah0. What a mistake. The kid is special that's for sure. I can't recall anyone going into Seattle and doing anything like that recently.

So naturally I will play him against Indy where he should destroy them but probably will have the worst game of the season :gah:

So....Tell me about Jimmy Garoppolo.

Looks like Hoyer will be released, and Beathard is back to back up.

Seahawks do a trade with the Texans who they just played and picked up left tackle Duane Brown, trading Jeremy Lane and some draft picks. I guess I like that. Have been talking about need for front line for a long time.

I saw him play a few games on TV in his college days (E. Illinois...Tony Romo's alma mater) He had a fantastic arm, could really zip the ball in between defenders. And while not a "running" QB, had pretty good mobility.

Granted he isn't going to make some of those throws in the NFL, players are just that much better. If he learned anything at all by sitting behind Brady for what, 3 or 4 years now? he should do more than OK.
