NFL 2017-18 Thread

True but it was sure fun to watch. Especially the last play that went on and on and on

Yeah, it's like someone threatened the refs that they wouldn't leave the stadium alive unless Oakland won, and they took it seriously.

I disagree with so much of that article.

"If players can't put their hands on officials then officials shouldn't be able to put their hands on players"

When they are fighting, which they aren't supposed to do, the officials have to break them up. They are professionals - they shouldn't be fighting. If emotions get the better of them, then what can you do? Well, you can at least stay on the sidelines if you are on the sidelines. They have penalties and fines for all of that shit.

I still think Marshawn is a dick. The ONLY thing that I support that he does is kneeling for the anthem.

Fair enough. I still think Brady is a dick. But that's ok. We can have different opinions. :)

Bears win again. First 2 win streak in 2 years. Almost no offense from them today, still fun to watch. They improve to 3-4. Still under .500 but, it does seem they have turned a corner. Saints next week. Saints have been winning a lot lately. Bears O will need to do a lot better than this next week.

Wow, did you guys see that gruesome injury to Bears receiver Miller?

And then, the fucking refs blow the call  In what universe was that NOT a catch? The dude makes a phenominal catch, suffers a horrible injury, rolls completely over while still clutching the ball, THEN drops the ball because he is in serious pain, and they call it an incomplete pass?

Even the broadcasting team 'ref expert' up in the booth thought it was a catch, even after looking at it multiple times in slow-mo. And the refs initially called it a TD and reversed themselves o_O

I hope the NFL fines the whole ref team doing that game, that is just such an egregious call.

Gambling is ruining the NFL.
