NFL 2017-18 Thread

Does it get below 60 degrees for more than 2 weeks a year? If so Jax is better. Buy a house on the ocean in Ponte Vedra Beach and the ocean breeze negates any humidity.

Cousins will probably end up in Jax. If so, they will have a much better record than the Niners next year

Nah, I spent a year in Fla. I aint buying that shit at all. You grew up back there, so you don't feel the humidity until it hits 93%

The weather here is nearly perfect.
Ask @bsman, he lives a couple blocks from Levi Stadium.

Unless you happen to be sitting IN Levi's Stadium on the wrong side. Gets hot! FYI, I'll be refereeing U17 and U18 boys games at the Field one in Santa Clara Youth Soccer Park right next door to Levi's Stadium during the 49ers game on Sunday...

It doesn't feel right at night, if by bed time, it isn't nearing 50 or cooler.

Another nice thing about NorCal - much like southern Idaho, it's deserty, so even in summer it normally cools way down at night.
Yeah, a little more grass, an a little less sage down there in Cali. I really liked the area near Auburn. And the Tahoe forest area is beautiful.

I live in alpine south central Idaho, so I get more trees than out in the snake river plain.

No professional football around here though. And Kellen Moore is on the practice squad at Dallas. I am a PNW/Seattle area football fan anyway. No blue and orange for me.

I grew up in DC. I lived in Jax for 3 years in my early 40s. If you live on the north coast, the humidity is not bad. And the north coast of Florida is not like the rest of the state. Fuck Orlando in August.

Besides I’ll take all the humidity in the world if I never have to wear a jacket. Fuck cold weather in its meathead face.

And you don’t need a freaking wetsuit to go surfing.

Seahawks look like crap so far. 3 missed field goals, 13 penalties, picks and near picks. Still only a one touchdown difference but ugly.

Because of horrible special teams play, Seahawks deserved to lose this. Along with other things such as trying to set a World record for penalties in the first half. 9 points of what should be sure thing in the NFL left on the field. And the Redskins defense played very very well. Congratulations Chad.

I was watching it with @VoidTerraFirma and @Guitar Heel. Your kicker cost you the game.

I have this weird, growing feeling that Belichick's going to pull another deep run out of his ass.

There's no 'great' team in the AFC, and the Patriots have begun to shut people down, even without many of their best players. Hightower's gone, and so is Edelman, but Gilmore is returning, and Van Noy is starting to look like the top pick he once was. Brady's clicking with Dola, Gronk, Cooks, Hogan .... just another season in New England.

Yep. But it was ugly in other ways. Penalties, O line not dialed yet, that defensive let down on Cousins' last drive (great drive, btw, Cousins has my respect), RW was not quite on target with a lot of his passes, etc.

It wasn’t pretty on our side either. 4 of our 5 starting offensive linemen were out. As were our 2 tight ends. I’m amazed we could even move the ball. I guess the Seahawks D isn’t what it was in the Super Bowl years.

Cousins was sharp, we were missing Earl Thomas, and Sherman and co. while still very good, can get burned.

I heard that the NYC Fox affiliate's switchboard was inundated by calls demanding them to preempt the Giants game for Heidi yesterday.
