I think I'm going to go ahead and discount the Chiefs. What's great about them? They started the season well, but have lost 3 of 4. And Andy Reid has not done well in January.

There are some decent teams in the AFC, but nothing that looks fearsome (and I include the Patriots, who really need to get their shit together).

I get the sense sometimes the Patriots are like the Lakers of old. Lope along until it get serious.
