I just got tickets for The Cure. If I’d have known how low the prices would be I would have logged in earlier to be at the front of the line. I expected the best seats to be hundreds of dollars—they were $130. Literally $130 to be in the pit twenty feat from Robert Smith. But I still got tickets in the amphitheater, I won’t be stuck on the lawn if it rains, so I’m happy.
Saw them in December. Great show though they'd been doing lots of greatest hits type sets either side of us and we got the new album / deep cuts set.
I'm going to see James with an orchestra in May. One of my absolute favourite bands of all time so looking forward to seeing them do something a bit different.
Pulp are headlining a festival in town in July I'm debating getting tickets for. I'd love to see them but it's like a zombie apocalypse of shit faced teenagers (not that I didn't do the same in similar festivals when I was but a lad) that I'm not sure I can be bothered dealing with.
