Recommend something on netflix...

We just watched OA and are currently watching Shooter (the series). Neither is amazing but both are a good enough watch when you regular stuff is off season.

OA lost me, and lost me HARD, when the focus of the show became interpretive dance. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Yeah, the movements were out there for sure but didn't kill it for me. I actually liked it better once I knew the lead girl was one of the writers. I always think that's cool. Not sure why.

Been watching Wet Hot American Summer: 10 Years Later. Very silly and funny with a great cast. If you haven't seen them watch the movie then the first season first.

season 2 has been on my list for a couple weeks. I will probably binge watch it today/tomorrow. The movie is awesome and the first season is kickass :thu:

I watched the netflix original "Little Evil" yesterday...highluy recomended ! If the shining, the exorcist and poltergeist had a menage a trois and their baby was raised by the guy who created Wet hot 'mericuhn summer.....it would be "Little Evil", it's got the red rum red rum voibe but in a dark comedy way

Wow, I guess there is truly no accounting for taste. The wife and I hated "Little Evil".

Has anyone recommended They Look Like People yet? That was a fantastic, low-budget psych thriller. It's a slow burn for sure, but the final scene and the resolution were intense.

Also, that Mark Duplass movie Creep was way better than a single-camera, found footage film with two actors had a right to be.

Did I already mention The IT Crowd?

If I did, no problem. I am watching it for the second time so I should mention it a second time too.

She really was good.
Yeah, I hated her character straight off as planned, then I realised how say that's the mark of an actor doing their job well. So I watched her with interest and watched the character progress and deepen.

Good stuff

I like how she can go from super tough girl, locking her uncles in a cage with bobcats, to shrinking like a scared little girl when she talks to her dad. She is really the star of the show. Although, I really dig the batshit crazy Darlene Snell too.

SPOILER ALERT:

Not enough screen time with her, but that would have been too much, espc after finding out that the old man wasn't the one pulling her strings, rather....
