Because the requirement to cover preexisting conditions allows young people to carry cheap or no coverage and only buy a good plan if they need it. Which means healthy young people aren't propping up the system by paying for all the older people and people with chronic conditions.

This was Obama’s plan all along. Create a system doomed to fail so America loses faith in the entire concept of health insurance. The big gamble was that the Dems might not control Congress when everything turns to shit.

It clearly needs to be taken out of the hands of the people and companies..

Raise taxes to where everyone pays relevant to what they make..

When all people go to the doc for a sniffle or open heart surgery, they leave their wallet at home...
 
and the best (worst part) is that we are only TWO MONTHS into this admin.
he can't possibly keep going like this for 3 year and 10 more months. it's not sustainable.
the mid terms are going to be a f'ing blood bath, IF the dems can get their collective heads out of their asses and put some electable bodies on the ballots.
