The Dumpster is in charge now.....you may pretty much say what you want now.... again.... whatever.

Some people may be emboldened by the current environment but it's not like the comments section of any website or youtube suddenly became a cesspool of humanity, it's always been that way.

I would not be surprised if Trump has no sense of the context of that term. I'd imagine hundreds of millions of Americans don't at this point in history.

The WSJ is reporting today that an administration source has revealed that Stephen Miller and Steve Bannon wrote the speech so the context of America First is starting to make sense.

Much of the speech was written by Stephen Miller and Steve Bannon, two of Mr. Trump’s top advisers, a White House official said.

“I don’t think we’ve had a speech like that since Andrew Jackson came to the White House,” said Mr. Bannon, Mr. Trump’s chief strategist and senior counselor. “It’s got a deep, deep root of patriotism.”

The speech was intended to touch the same themes of his campaign, Mr. Bannon said. “It was an unvarnished declaration of the basic principles of his populist and nationalist movement,” he said. “It was given in a very powerful way.”

This was the first big women's march I’ve skipped since I was a kid. My mom and grandma used to take me to the marches in DC. I thought about going, but most of the people I knew who were going were the same Bernie supporters who refused to vote for Clinton, so I think they should really spend a day pointing a finger at themselves.

That pic/comparison w/all the empty space is appearing everywhere, including CNN and snopes. If there is one thing this election has shown (on both sides of the spectrum) is that "fake news" is, and always has been a thing.

The two pictures are not incompatible at all, considering how long the mall is and how low the perspective is from the capital. Plus neither of the two aerial shots were taken during the inaugural address and the one you posted was, so the fact that there would be slightly more people towards the front of the crowd in the one you posted because it is actually during the speech is totally unremarkable.

Another thing I read, somewhere, is that Obama's inauguration was in fact the most attended ever.
