Trump is Bane

Predictive programming. Mind control. Chaos magick blowback. Reality is broken. There was a rip in space time when David Bowie died. Everything since has been non-cannon. Some sort of elseworld story. Don't believe it and it isn't happening.

Aerial shot of the National Mall from President Barack Obama’s 2009 inauguration taken at about 11:30 AM ET in 2009:

And here’s what it looks like today as of 11:embarrassed:4 AM ET.

Not that it matters, but I'm doubting the authenticity of this. I watched the inauguration briefly, I seem to recall an aerial shot that looked much different. Not saying it isn't true, they may have shown the shot I saw from a different/better angle, but didn't look as sparse as the one on the left here.

There is a video I saw on Facebook yesterday that someone shot with their phone that shows the mall with more people on it. If I can find it I'll post it here.

I'm no Trump fan, but criticize for the right reasons....

The thing to take away isn't so much what was removed (new pres, new site) but what the new administration is signaling as their policy initiative with the key issues they have identified on the site, like what I posted a few up from yours and:

From the new web site, I think criticism is in order.

"For too long, we’ve been held back by burdensome regulations on our energy industry. President Trump is committed to eliminating harmful and unnecessary policies such as the Climate Action Plan and the Waters of the U.S. rule. Lifting these restrictions will greatly help American workers, increasing wages by more than $30 billion over the next 7 years."

I really suggest that every goes to the site and read the 5 key issues for themselves & get a sense of where Trump's administration want's to go:

https://www.whitehouse.gov/america-first-energy

America First Energy Plan
Bringing Back Jobs and Growth
Making Our Military Strong Again
Standing Up For Our Law Enforcement Community
Trade Deals Working For All Americans

Edit: From my POV, it definitely presents a lot of troubling aspects and has a lot of regressive & nationalist hyperbole. Just look at the energy plan and it's ripe with a renewed emphasis on fracking, big biz friendly deregulation including eliminating regs that will permit DAPL to move forward, restoring an emphasis on non-renewable energy resources and a goal of reviving the coal mining industry. Zero mention of renewable energy or anything about the next generation of energy production and consumption issues.

Breitbart is the unofficial mouthpiece of the Trump Administration. If they're lauding the change, then there's good reason to believe it's not coming back. But we'll see.

The article I posted was from Snopes, known to be more left leaning - where did Breitbart get brought in???

I was thinking that I had heard "America First" in regards to foriegn policy before WWI but apparently it was a movement to keep us out of WW2: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/America_First_Committee

Interesting reading if not totally relevant to the subject at hand.

When I heard the repeated 'America First' term in the address, I was stunned that he had co-op'd a term that's long been associated with a nationalist & isolationist organization w/ some pro-nazi overtones. I had to wonder if they weren't aware of this or just don't care.

I would not be surprised if Trump has no sense of the context of that term. I'd imagine hundreds of millions of Americans don't at this point in history.

While I hate to give him any attention , ff you want to see the worst possible scenario of how to interpret the new administration's key issues, check out Duke's twitter feed.

The second article I posted was from Breitbart. My thinking is that if Breitbart is gloating about it, then it's not coming back. I could be wrong.

Saturday afternoon train to NYC from Stamford. I am on my way to pick my guitar up from the repair shop with Howie. Now i kinda wish I was going to the protest but I have to get back to Stamford.

Still, this makes me very happy to see. Usually this train is virtually empty on a Saturday afternoon.
