It would be nice if more folks actually cared enough to educate themselves on the candidates and the issues and voted next time.

Nearly as many people turned out yesterday as Clinton won the popular vote. SO they DID turnout.

Kellyanne Conway said that the Trump spokesman commenting on numbers and turnout "wasn't lying" he was only presenting "alternative facts."

That was a surreal moment. No matter what you think of her, you have to respect her ability to stay precisely on message no matter what question is thrown her way.

The Martin Luther King bust being removed was/is FAKE news.
Somehow I've completely missed the fake and real stories on this.

Zeke Miller, a reporter from Time, tweeted the bust was removed.
Shortly after, he realized he was wrong and tweeted a correction. He also responded to other twitter users direct questions about the bust that he was incorrect & later apologized to Spicer

A mistake was made and then it was corrected so it generally didn't get traction anywhere except the outlets that want to mine it into controversy.

Imo even this thread seems to reflect that people are more interested in the theater of Trump vs the media than issues or policy

If he actually gave us any issues or policy, maybe there woould be something else to discuss. But walking around saying everything you will do is tremendous and everything anyone else did is a disaster, there isn't any substance to discuss.

The official answer was it was moved, and it couldn't be seen because a door blocked it. That might be just as bad.

There's plenty of substantive discussions that can take place already:
We could discuss the key issues outlined on the whitehouse.gov site
Discuss the executive orders he has already signed
Discuss the content of his inaugural address
Discuss the Republican & administration objections on the delay of his cabinet appointments
Discuss the foreign leaders that he is already planning on meeting
Discuss the administrations intentions to withdraw from TPP
....that's off the top of my head

More good news: Don't worry about impeaching Trump and ending up with Pence. I just herd about this great new therapy. They can electrocute Pence till he turns into a decent human being.

Later"he" tweeted this:

Doesn't even sound like him. If we follow this back we can maybe pinpoint the time the NWO either hijacked his twitter or installed his brain implant.

i think they used to call that electroshock therapy. it's basically legalized torture. so i guess dumpster would be on board with it.

I have been working my second job for the last few days. I haven't gotten a chance to see his executive orders yet but am looking forward to the giant face palm once I do.

While I agree, but you have to remember, Trump list by 3 million votes.

We could discuss the key issues outlined on the whitehouse.gov site:

Won't give them a click to look, but did see that they got rid of any mention of climate change other than to say they will do away with restrictions. So Bullshit

Discuss the executive orders he has already signed:
Haven't seen a list, afraid to look at that which I'm sure I'll find bullshit.

Discuss the content of his inaugural address: He plagiarized Bane. Sad BS.

Discuss the Republican & administration objections on the delay of his cabinet appointments: Vetting is vetting and not delaying, they could have found more easily appointable candidates but choose not to, so I call bullshit.

Discuss the foreign leaders that he is already planning on meeting: I hope Trudeau pulls some Jedi mindtrick bullshit, if that doesn't work the Mexican president brings along the twins from Breaking Bad.

Discuss the administrations intentions to withdraw from TPP: This just may be okay, though I've never followed the TPP much and I'm no economics expert. Most likely it's bullshit though.

:)

I’m happy to see the TPP die. I’ll let the Sierra Club explain.

Unfettered Rights to Corporations. The TPP will include provisions that give corporations the right to sue a government for unlimited cash compensation -- in private and non-transparent tribunals -- over nearly any law or policy that a corporation alleges will reduce its profits. Using similar rules in other free trade agreements, corporations such as Exxon Mobil and Dow Chemical have launched over 600 cases against more than 100 governments. Dozens of cases attack common-sense environmental laws and regulations, such as regulations to protect communities and the environment from harmful chemicals or mining practices. Read more here about how harmful investment rules included in other trade pacts have led to the attack of climate and environmental policies.”
