It's amazing to me that this sort of thing is still in my newsfeed. Especially amazing if you read the very last comment at the bottom. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that people are such fucking racists and think that little comments like the "banana" one are OK but I still am.

You should reply to Jeff saying that you think you are going to eat an asshole for breakfast. You have no idea why.

So the House wants to fine members who post pics or stream from the house floor.
“These changes will help ensure that order and decorum are preserved in the House of Representatives so lawmakers can do the people’s work,” Ryan spokeswoman Ashlee Strong said in a statement, per NBC News.

Really? What work have you done since you have been in office Mr Ryan? What bills have you gotten signed into law?

I take that back, he did get a bill through to rename a post office. Nice work there Mr Speaker.

trump claims his charity donated 100% of the money it raised to wonderful charities.

except when the charity used its donations to settle litigation for his companies.

also, a month ago the trump foundation admitted it violated a legal prohibition against ‘self-dealing,’ which bars nonprofit leaders from using their charity’s money to help themselves, their businesses or their families.” The materials, filed with the IRS, were signed by Trump himself – so it’s not as if he can credibly claim he had no idea what was going on.

so basically a boldfaced lie.

Unless, as Samantha Bee reported, he can't read

That’s the point. From now on, any time a talking head brings up Trump’s conflicts of interest, the right-winger on stage will say “But he doesn’t have any conflicts of interest he even shut down his charitable foundation to appease the democrats.” and the conversation will go somewhere else.

the ny atty general has already said he can't close it because of the current investigation. its just crazy to me that a month previous he signs an admission of guilt and then a few weeks later completly lies about it and no one really notices or cares.

its kind of an odd catch 22. i hate trump and want him to be exposed as the fraud that he is but i somehow don't want him impeached. i think pence would do more damage. i think best case scenario is controversies, investigations and grid lock until mid term elections.

It's an interesting case for New York. Trump lives here and has donated to Cuomo and Schumer before. They have no power to shut Schneiderman down, but don't want Trump's Administration to play hardball once in office.

since trump has said numerous times that pence is going to handle policy, there's not going to be that much of a difference.

Has he actually said that? All I can find is an unsourced New York Times story that said his was planning to offer Kasich the veep slot and delegate to Kasich. That could have just been the cranky ramblings of a disgruntled staffer.

"A data point to consider here: According to the The New York Times’ Robert Draper, Trump pretty much told John Kasich he could run the country if he’d be his running mate.

Donald Jr. was reportedly the one to make the offer, and said that his father’s vice presidential candidate “would be in charge of domestic and foreign policy.” Trump, meanwhile, would be in charge of “making America great again.”

6th paragraph.

But that's the only instance to be published. At least that I've seen. While we assume he said the same to Pence, that connection is unsubstantiated.

it's been published everywhere.

trump really has no choice but to let pence handle policy....he knows nothing about it. the only policy trump understands is profit and refusing to pay contractors.

While I detest Pence, I think the GOP can control him. The GOP isn't great, but they know why we can't just nuke the middle east which is something Donald is still trying to wrap his head around.
