While I detest Pence, I think the GOP can control him. The GOP isn't great, but they know why we can't just nuke the middle east which is something Donald is still trying to wrap his head around.
i don't think so. pence is the shining example of what the gop is all about. ultra right, ultra christian, anti-regulation of everything. and he's a lot slicker than cruz.

2nd paragraph.
http://www.nytimes.com/2016/07/20/magazine/how-donald-trump-picked-his-running-mate.html

4th paragraph
http://wgntv.com/2016/07/20/report-...-charge-of-domestic-and-foreign-policy-as-vp/

it's been published everywhere.

trump really has no choice but to let pence handle policy....he knows nothing about it. the only policy trump understands is profit and refusing to pay contractors.
What Kasich said was published. Nothing has been confirmed by Pence. So again, it's an assumption.

the articles all say "trump's vice president would be in charge of domestic and foreign policy"

so it's not an assumption. it's a quote. whether it happens or not remains to be seen. but as i said before, trump knows nothing of it and pence is a state governor.

That is the public description of the GOP. The real GOP is about making the rich, richer. They couldn't care less about Christianity, that's just how they get the votes.

well, many of the most powerful members of the gop are fervent christians.

It's an assumption until there is confirmation from Pence. I'm not saying it's an unreasonable stretch. But we don't have confirmation.

So they say publicly. They have to or they get no votes. If they really were, they wouldn't be trying to cut funding to help those less fortunate in order to give bazillionaires tax breaks. The bible says be cool to the poor over and over and the GOP doesn't give a shit about them.

it's a special version of christianity......christo-fascism. they cherry pick the parts of the bible that suits their political agenda. it IS the ultra right christian doctrine.

HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO EXPLAIN THIS???????????

Which means they aren't Christian. They are using people's religion for their own personal gain.

For in a democracy, every citizen, regardless of his interest in politics, 'hold office'; everyone of us is in a position of responsibility; and, in the final analysis, the kind of government we get depends upon how we fulfill those responsibilities. We, the people, are the boss, and we will get the kind of political leadership, be it good or bad, that we demand and deserve.
