Yeah it's kind of like death by hanging or death by firing squad....the operative word is death

I know that's not the way a lot will think but I never had a horse in this race so that's been my perspective for quite a while.
i would say it's more like death by old age (hillary).....which you might live thru for 4 years.......or death by nuclear attack (dumpster)....you can't run fast enough, far enough.

Trump is a year older than Hillary. Just saying.

i wasn't talking about them....i was talking about us. hillary ain't great, but we might survive her. dumpster on the other had is going to destroy the country.
for example, gingrich (dumpster's mouth piece) was saying today, that they are going to do away with the EPA, OSHA, medicare, social security, virtually everything that FDR put in place and that has been put in place since.\
and since they have the whitehouse, the house of reps, the senate and soon SCOTUS.....they're gonna get away with it. and there is virtually nothing anyone can do about it.

edit: i read the article about gingrich saying those things today. he may have actually said them a few days ago.

Really...these fears are as overdone as those when Obama took over 8 years ago. If they do all those things you fear, the house and senate will be democrats in 2 years. It's one thing to talk about getting rid of things...and it's easy to talk about it. It's a lot harder to actually start to make changes that affect millions of people negatively. They aren't all going to be in lockstep and there will be a lot of Republicans who won't want some of the changes being talked about. And it takes more than a comment to make these kinds of sweeping changes, I suspect 4 years wouldn't be enough time.

And again, Trump wants to be the greatest president ever (cause he's possibly the biggest narcissist ever to take office). In order to do so you cannot alienate half the country.

The biggest difference is that when Obama took office, it was Fox News, Rush Limbaugh and the like telling everyone the horrible things Obama was going to do. Trump himself (or his people) is telling you all the bad things he is going to do.

Your last paragraph hit it perfectly. He is such a narcissist, he won't even realize he is alienating half the country.

exactly. all the 'bad stuff talk' that was going around as obama was taking office was from the right wingnuts.
the bad stuff that is being talked about that trump & co. are gonna do....IS FROM THEM!!
they fully intend to accomplish these things. and they're going to fight to get them done.

Or, "we've been trying to hitch Trump to these nut jobs and it turns out he wasn't so we need to spin our bullshit into a negative for Trump".

What’s the truth? Conservative talk-show hosts, right-wing media, and Trump himself are on a campaign to discredit traditional sources of facts and analysis – scientists, economists, criminologists, government data, and mainstream media -- and substitute their preferred reality.

For example:

1. The CIA and FBI say Russia interfered with the election to benefit Trump. But Trump disagrees. And Breitbart News (until recently under the watch of Trump’s strategic advisor Steven Bennan) dismisses the CIA report as “left-wing fake news.”

2. Almost all scientists agree climate change is real and is caused by humans. But Trump disagrees. And so does Scott Pruitt, his nominee to head the Environmental Protection Agency.

3. The F.B.I. and virtually all criminologists agree that the rate of homicides in the U.S. has plummeted in recent years. But Trump says it’s soared. So does Fox News.

4. Most health policy analysts agree that Medicare’s costs are rising both because the costs of health care are rising and the American population is aging. But Paul Ryan and many Republicans in Congress say Medicare itself is to blame.

5. Government data show the rate of illegal immigration has declined sharply over the last ten years, and that undocumented immigrants commit proportionately fewer crimes than native-born Americans. But Trump claims the opposite is true, and both Breitbart and Fox News agree with Trump.

6. Most economists and policy analysts don’t think that tax cuts to the rich result in better wages for most people. But Trump’s economic advisers contend otherwise.

On almost every major issue to be addressed over the next few years, Trump and the right wing media are already feeding Americans big lies, and trying to discredit traditional sources of truth. This poses one of the greatest threats to our democracy.

All I will add, is Fox News and Rush have been doing this for as long as they have been on the air.
