that's because he's been dead for 8 years.
Carlin said many times he didn't vote and was against voting. I disagreed then and still do. If you don't vote, your opinion is irrelevant.that's because he's been dead for 8 years.
your logic doesn't hold up.
it's like saying none of the writings of any of the great philosopher are relevant because they didn't vote in the 2016 election. makes no sense.
i wasn't aware that he never voted.Carlin said many times he didn't vote and was against voting. I disagreed then and still do. If you don't vote, your opinion is irrelevant.
Everyone is allowed to have an opinion. Not fulfilling his basic civic duty made his opinion irrelevant. I can say everything's sucks all I want, and I do. But I still spent 5 minutes to vote. 80 million people sat this one out. Their opinions are irrelevant as well.i wasn't aware that he never voted.
still, i don't think voting is a prerequisite for having an opinion.

RNC Declares Trump "New King" In Creepy Christmas Message

Well, sometimes you can go overboard in the creepiness factor. The Republican National Committee sent out their Christmas message to fellow Republicans, and offered this thought:
gop.com/…
“Merry Christmas to all! Over two millennia ago, a new hope was born into the world, a Savior who would offer the promise of salvation to all mankind. Just as the three wise men did on that night, this Christmas heralds a time to celebrate the good news of a new King. We hope Americans celebrating Christmas today will enjoy a day of festivities and a renewed closeness with family and friends.
There are several problems with this narrative: they are either pronouncing Trump the second coming of Jesus Christ (The King of Kings to Christians) or they are implicating that the presidency is a royal right.
Either way, poorly structured or not, it certainly reflects a troubled understanding of civics & faith.
In case you wondered, America does not elect Kings.

Update:
Note, CNN has released a statement by RNC which contends there was “no talk about king”.. so let me explain this, for those who are lay and why I will not change the title. In many Christian denominations, the celebration is marked as the “newborn king” or, “the king of kings”.
The sentence structure provided offers none of that.
“Just as the three wise men did on that night, this Christmas heralds a time to celebrate the good news of a new King.”
“just as..” so, “similar to” when three wise men, “the good news of a new king”.. so, let me explain something. John Kennedy and several other politicians were decried for whether or not they were Catholics first ahead of president of the country. This message isn’t even about that. If RNC had wanted to send a specific Christian message, they should have said “newborn king” or “the king of kings”.. putting out a statement such as this is either a complete error on their party to be this poorly structured or, it welcomed the people who would interpret it incorrectly.
PS- For a party that claims Christian roots, they could also be aware the three wise men weren’t there for the birth. They were traveling to get there, and came later. Just to pass on to the RNC, that is specifically Matthew 2:1-12.
yer wasting your time. the christo-fascists cherry pick the fuck out of the bible to support their political agenda. they talk out of both sides of their face. we are in BIG trouble. the one and likely only upside to this administration is that gun prices are (even now) going into the basement. i was at a gun show last month and the dealers were literally marking down prices as i stood there and watched. so my suggestion is to gun up while the availability is good. you might just need them.

Well, except that every major news outlet posts their stories to social media. So yeah, you can go for crap and argue if hot dogs are a sandwich all day. Or, you can read news as it breaks. It's all about what you want it to be.as far as i'm concerned.....all those "social media" outlets can be shut down. there's nothing but unsubstantiated bullshit on them. they are also the platform that dumpster is going to use to further his propaganda.
they also post their stories on the open internet. screw twitter. i read my news at AP, UPI, CNN, Reuters.....not twitter or snapchat or whatever. if you go directly to the news outlet, you don't see the fucking fake news.Well, except that every major news outlet posts their stories to social media. Twitter links directly to the sites. It's merely an aggregator.they also post their stories on the open internet. screw twitter. i read my news at AP, UPI, CNN, Reuters.....not twitter or snapchat or whatever. if you go directly to the news outlet, you don't see the fucking fake news.
as i said. social media can go the hell away. legitimate main stream press verify their sources, they don't post fake bullshit quasi-news.I think the real problem with social media is that it’s designed to encourage people to argue about dumb shit. If I log into Facebook it’s going to show me a slew of clickbait from Huffington Post, Daily Kos, Breitbart, Rush Limbaugh, and an assortment of articles about Trump, Sanders, and Warren. I don’t want to see any of that garbage, and I’ve told Facebook to hide that shit a thousand times. But people arguing about that shit generate ad revenue, and that’s all Facebook cares about. So the pump the most absurd shit to the top, be it Bill Maher ranting or Macedonian news sites claiming that Democrats run a child sex ring out of the basement at Comet Ping Pong. And, unfortunately, an amazing minority Americans are addicted to this shit, so it’s hard for the sane majority to just stay the hell away.

how the hell did the planet earth get information in the 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's without fucking twitter?
those reports were by Time and Life magazines....not AP, UPI, Reuters. Time and Life were the equivalent of twitter today. There’s plenty of bullshit in the mainstream press. Ever watch Barbara Starr on CNN regurgitating Pentation PR as if it’s news? Remember how the rest of the media ignored all the crazy shit McChrystal was saying about Obama until Rolling Stone reported it?
You mean when the media was reporting that the Vietnamese attacked the USA in the Gulf of Tonkin just because the Pentagon said so?
