It's really a shame Bernie didn't get the nod. There is a large group that are supporting Trump because they hate Clinton and don't trust her. If Bernie had gotten the nomination, this would have been the biggest landslide ever.

I'm naive enough to think that if someone is smart enough to vote for Bernie, they're pissed off but not stupid enough to vote Trump. And possibly won't vote Clinton either.

Oh, absolutely. However, the Democratic party promised the 2016 nomination to Clinton in exchange for her standing aside and supporting Obama in 2008.

Like Clinton or hate her, I think anyone would agree: she's not someone you'd want to double cross.

I would have preferred Bernie as well, but I don't personally know anyone who switched from Bernie to Trump. Stein, yes. Johnson, yes. Trump is everything Bernie hates. The 'outsider' label doesn't translate, IMHO.

Certainly there are those within Trumps numbers who are backing him based on their poor perception of Hillary, but I believe they were there from the start.

To be honest, I think Bernie might have scared some dems towards trump had he won the nomintion.

egotistical and weirdly authoritarian.

Vince Foster

:dh:
Give that poor old horse a rest. Fuck, even that Clinton hating piece of shit Ken Star determined Foster committed suicide.

the contents of the torn up suicide note in his briefcase:

I made mistakes from ignorance, inexperience and overwork

I did not knowingly violate any law or standard of conduct

No one in The White House, to my knowledge, violated any law or standard of conduct, including any action in the travel office. There was no intent to benefit any individual or specific group

The FBI lied in their report to the AG

The press is covering up the illegal benefits they received from the travel staff

The GOP has lied and misrepresented its knowledge and role and covered up a prior investigation

The Ushers Office plotted to have excessive costs incurred, taking advantage of Kaki and HRC

The public will never believe the innocence of the Clintons and their loyal staff

The WSJ editors lie without consequence

I was not meant for the job or the spotlight of public life in Washington. Here ruining people is considered sport

The "Clintons killed Vince Foster" theory is more in line with Trump/Breitbart types. Don't be that guy.

I'm pretty sure he was joking.

I don't think people switched from Bernie to Trump, but there is a large percent of people in the Trump camp who say anyone but Clinton. Since Clinton got the nomination, they go to Trump. Maybe they just wouldn't have voted if Bernie was the candidate. I see the anyone but Clinton in my facebook feed from my less intelligent friends

And if Trump had been debating Bernie last night, there'd still be a crew over at Hofstra trying to scrub Trump's blackened remains off the stage.

Wow. Clinton has been gathering endorsements from papers that have never endorsed a Dem (Arizona Republic), endorsements of support from Republicans with defense ties such as John Warner, and this write up not so much endorsing Clinton as saying to stay away from Trump because he is dangerous, from W. F. Buckley's paper The National Review: http://www.nationalreview.com/artic...gn-policy-nato-allies-treaties-vladimir-putin Seems like a few conservatives have had enough after last night.
