my point wasn't for pity. my point was that this kind of thing is going on all over the country. lots of federal land is being wrecked by the oil industry. and because of who we keep electing, it will not only continue, but get worse.

I agree with you, and did not take your post as a plea for pity. I sincerely don't like hearing about the loss of that land to fracking, etc.

yes....i've been following the news. the judge isn't in their court. not sure what recourse they have, unless they can persuade SCOTUS to listen.

This election is inscrutable. It's about feelings...which can be understood. What makes it hard to figure is that it is about hidden feelings...shame, fear, hate, atavistic whathaveyou. She's lost 20 points in 538's projection since the election. She's leaving the door open for Trump, and if she doesn't right the ship by the first debate, she has an actual change of losing the election. It's been hers to lose since the beginning and this is the first time I've considered it might actually happen.
 
I think Clinton’s going to blow it. This is Kerry all over again. She’s wasting time attacking a guy who can’t open his mouth without damaging himself. She should be making the case to actually SHOW UP AT THE POLLS and vote Clinton. If she doesn’t start doing that her turnout will be low and she’ll lose.

what Hill NEEDS to do.....is talk about her programs/policies and moving the country forward....etc. and really basically IGNORING trump. almost don't even address anything he says. talk about what YOU'RE going to do. it'll piss him off to the point that he'll REALLY start saying crazy shit.

What she needs to do, and seems hell bent to NOT do, is address the unfavorables that the majority of likely voters feel about her...the total negative, mud slinging style of campaign only amplifies them...if she opted to run an upright, positive message style of campaign he wouldn't get a single electoral college delegates, not one...
