I don't give a fuck about football and if I watch 2 games outside of the Superb Owl, it'll be a lot.

Superb Owl?

It's been what, 2 weeks, and we're still talking about it? Sounds like a successful protest to me.

BTW - I don't give a fuck about football and if I watch 2 games outside of the Superb Owl, it'll be a lot.
Same here. No fucks given for handegg, but more power to this dude for using his national platform to affect change.

after what she did to HP.....i can't believe the hubris of her thinking she was going to run for PRESIDENT. she is easily the WORST leader of anything since captain Bligh

I was a bit surprised too. I work in IT and the IT world saw her time at HP as a gigantic failure.

Worked out well for him.

And as Kareem Abdul Jabbar said:
"What should horrify Americans is not Kaepernick’s choice to remain seated during the national anthem, but that nearly 50 years after [Muhammad] Ali was banned from boxing for his stance and Tommie Smith and John Carlos’s raised fists caused public ostracization and numerous death threats, we still need to call attention to the same racial inequities," Abdul-Jabbar wrote, referring to prominent protests by black athletes that were once considered controversial but have since become iconic symbols of the U.S. civil rights movement.

Go Seahawks!

Oh, I know. His last public speaking event, the night before his assassination, was eerily prescient about that.
yep. And yet we still are needing to talk about all of this. I think what Kareem said above sums it up. Those that are upset about the means or method of protest are in denial, ignorant, and/or missing the point. And also do not understand what our civil rights mean.

I think Johnson ended what little chance he had by not knowing what Aleppo is.

I know but, we deserve something. On top of that, Rick Perry is going to be on Dancing With The Stars so, no chance of him running for some obscure party.
