Yes, in the 22 LR cylinder.
Subsonic shorts are great in a revolver. All the fun, none of the noise.
I lubs me some Ruger single six.
I was just shooting some shorts the other day out of a Chiappa over & under (also belongs to my son). I like the shorts a lot.

This is the rifle right here:

Is that a double badger combo gun?
How do you like it?
Ive been eyeballing those for a while. Seems like a great small game gun

Anyone looking for cheap 9mm?

If you haven't ordered from SG before, you can combine the 30 day free buyers club discount and 'TAKEOFF20%" coupon code for a shipped price of 18.74 cents a round for 1,000 rounds.
That is a good price.

That ammo looks like the Perfecta 9mm that wally world sells. Last time I bought it, it was like $9.70 a box of 50. Stuff runs great in my glock - as accurate as any other 9mm I've shot through it.

I can make 9mm for about 10-11 cents a round (actually pretty much any pistol caliber is about that price, .45 is a little more 'cause the bullets cost more).

Perfecta is often reported to be Fiocchi distributed through Tulammo...the walmarts around here rarely have it in stock and it's regularly priced at $10.99 or more (tack on 6% state sales tax too). Fiocchi is decent.

Wagdog's post makes me wonder how many reloaders we have here. I'm one. I do pistol calibers with a Dillion Square Deal B progressive press and rifle stuff with a Rock Crusher. I reload 9mm, .38/.357, 40 sw, 45acp, and 44 mag on the progressive press and 223, 30-30, 7.62x39, 45-70, and 7mm rem mag one at a time with the rock crusher. I haven't bought any new reloading stuff in like 20 years, as my stuff still works great.

I have a hornady progressive. I've only done pistol calibers so far (.380, 38, 9mm and .45), but I'm tooled up for .223 and 45/70. I plan on doing .223 soon. I got into reloading so I could shoot more, but found that I could make ammo that was far more accurate than any mass produced store bought ammo. Plus, it gives something to do during the winter.

@mongooz mentioned that he reloads as well.

i used to do quite a bit of reloading. mostly 45 ACP, 45 Colt (very hot for my Blackhawk), 6mm x 284 (wild cat) that was tight necked. those are the ones i was using for LONG range varminting. they would hold 10 shot groups in 3/8" hole at 200 yards. i have at least one scanned target to prove it. and several others i can scan to show it more.
the work that went into each loaded round was unbelievable, but that's what you have to do if you want to hit a grapefruit sized object at 1000 yards. if you really want to know, i can detail the whole process. but suffice it to say that each loaded round had about 30 to 45 MINUTES of work and loading. :zoinks:

^^^^^
i should add, that the 30 to 45 minutes for those loaded rounds were mostly brass prep. after that i'd only need to spend about 10 minutes per round.

oh wait. those were the cartridges i was reloading in the end. i've reloaded for 9mm, 243 Win., 6mm Rem., 30-06,
270 Win., 22-250, 44 Mag., 357 Mag. maybe a few more.

Im a reloader too. I do everything on a single stage RCBS rock Chucker.
In pistol, Im set up for .38/.357, 44mag, .32s&w long/.327 federal, .380, 9mm luger, 9mm Makarov, .40, .45 acp, .45 Colt.
For rifle, 22-250, .243, 25-06, .270, 30-06, and 300 WSM
Probably a few more Im forgetting.

Edit: forgot 7mm-08

Pretty much everything I shoot is a reload except for rimfire and shotshells.
I like to put a game on the radio and crank out some rounds when the weather is crappy.

I guess I don't get the point of this. I guess if you have to have a gun not look like a gun this might be important. Maybe spy tech shit or something. I don't mind my J frame revolver frame/cylinder printing a bit in my pocket holster. It lets bad people who look for such things make good life choices. I have no need to disguise my guns, as I have a CCW permit.

My first thought (AND NOT MY REASON FOR WANTING THIS) was those scenarios when someone has to walk through a metal detector and throws their phone and wallet in a basket that bypasses it. Or somewhere that they use wand metal detectors only.

Picked up one of these yesterday:

Smith-Wesson-Victory-23-1024x683.jpg

It's Smith and Wesson's new target 22. Seems to be pretty well made and very cleverly designed. It's super easy to disassemble/reassemble (unlike the Rugers) and the sights and/or optics don't need to be removed and rezeroed after cleaning (unlike the Browning). All stainless steel construction, fiber optic adjustable sights. Comes with 2 10 round mags and a rail for mounting whatever. Internet reviews have been very positive, so I'm excited to go out and give it a whirl.

Sweet. I want one of those, but I already have a ruger 22/45 Mark III. If I can ever sell the ruger, I'll buy the Victory.
