Played my first round of golf today

finished 9 a little while ago. one of my best 9 holes this season.
2 pars and 7 bogies. NO doubles, triples, etc. par on that 9 is 35.
and had i not muffed up the drive on 9, it would have been 3 pars, six bogies.
i hit some good drives, some good fairway woods, good irons, very good chips and 3 12'+ putts.
score: 42 actual !!!

I had a decent round for me. Shot 137 total for 18 holes at Torrey Pines North course. I really enjoyed it, and I can see why it's so popular.

played 9 holes today. it was ok, some not so good hits and some pretty decent ones.
several good chips and putts.
scored: 45

have a 10:40 tee time for monday and an 11:40 on Tuesday (i have it off)

Played 18 at Riverwalk. Parred one hole. I had a monster drive on the 2nd hole, but I overshot my chip a bit, and I wound up 3 putting the hole for a bogey. I did find a nice setup that helps me hit my shots straight. My putting was on fire today. I even one putted a few holes. That really helped my score, as I got below 60 on 9 holes. Shot a total of 111 today.

The improvement is slow but steady.

man, it has been decades since i've been in San Antone. :thu:

I've strained ligaments in my foot (currently using crutches most of the time to get around) so won't be hitting the course any time soon.

I do pick up the keys to a lock up tomorrow. It's mainly for stashing my DJ gear, garden stuff and beer kegs but I have high falutin ideas of setting up a practice Matt and net in there.

played 9 today. did not do so well. scored 52, and that's with a couple mulligans.
had 2 good drives, but a lot of muffed/topped hits. picking my head up on the down swing
didn't help that i had one of the club pro's playing behind me.

I've just got the keys for a lock up garage today.

It's to store my DJ gear (sick of having no free space in the house) and most likely I'll put my tools in there too to make some extra space in the garden but I have aspirations to hang a punch bag and set up a golf Matt and practice cage in there too :embarrassed:

Played 18 at Riverwalk again yesterday. I had a lot of very bad holes, but a few good ones. I actually parred 3 holes out of 18, which is very good for me. I even got par on the most difficult par 4 on the course. It felt so good to string together so many good shots on a single hole.

last saturday i played 9 and did ok, for a change. but it was on a different course because my regular course had outings on both saturday and sunday. the course i played on, the greens are f'ing impossible. all elevated back to front and with noticeable cross slopes too.
almost all my drives were fairly straight....not real long (210+ ish) but very acceptable.
still, i parred 2 holes and BIRDIED one!!
shot a 42.
i'll take that !!

Played Torrey Pines North again today. Shot 114. My 3 wood was really working off the tee today. I also hit my hybrid clubs well. Irons were not that good though. Back to the driving range.

Had a fun round yesterday, the weather was pleasant and shot my best round in a while, 88.

It could have been much better, I had like 5 three-putts. Just wasn't focused with the flatstick I guess. The rest of my short game was pretty good and the full swing was the best it's been in ages. Hit 9 greens, which is probably my best ever.

Now I am anxious for next weekend to get here so I can get back out there before I lose that good feeling. Work is for chumps!
