Give me something to watch on Netflix

Foundation on Apple TV is really good. Fills a The Expanse shaped hole nicely. It got some mixed reviews initially as some fans of the books criticised some of the changes they made but having never read the books I enjoyed it on its own merits. Looks fantastic and Lee Pace is perfect for the psycho emperor role.

It interesting as some of the ideas can seem derivative until you remember it pre-dated a lot of other classics. If you see elements of 2001, Dune and indeed The Expanse, it's because they were based on Foundation, not the other way round. But I found that to be interesting, rather than distracting.

IMO, Walton Goggins is what made Justified awesome. Boyd Crowder is one of the best TV characters ever. Without him, I’m not really interested in the new run.
Totally agree. The new one is still fun, but the bad guy just isn't compelling. And that's a big deal.

As a boxing fan… I kinda hated it. Portrayed Foreman like as a smiley idiot.
It portrayed a person who grew up dirt poor and was treated like dirt and received a bad education. He had a short temper and fell away from God when he did not deliver the way he thought he should. He found his faith, became a tremendous man of faith and kept it when he lost all his wealth. Built another boxing career and remained a humble man of faith. It’s an incredible story and message

I agree, Foreman’s an extremely likeable guy and his story is legendary.

I don’t think that he’s idiot. He doesn’t sound like an idiot as a commentator, and he doesn’t sound like an idiot while being interviewed.

In the movie, he’s portrayed as black horny Forrest Gump.

I was on 6 flights in the month of August. A vast majority of people were watching the Foreman movie on every flight. I couldn't hear the movie and it looked like they portrayed him as pretty dumb.

A follow up on Justified. In the finale Boyd escapes from prison. Can you say another season.

Just rewatched Alison Anders' Grace of My Heart. What a great film with a fantastic original soundtrack. Anyone who likes sixties music should enjoy it.

god damn it. Now I have to watch it.

Finished reading as well.

That felt like an ending to me, and I’d be shocked if there was another season. But hey, who knows?

The original show had one of the best endings I can remember, and that’s always hard to beat.

I’m certain that some of you would enjoy this one. I thought of @Motorik , naturally.

Horror comedy and a modern Grand Guignol. Cannibalism with a huge nod to Sweeney Todd but without the music. Lots of fun.

this was originally a podcast, multiple actors, episodes, etc. kinda meh but kept me listening to the whole thing. Might be worth checking out if you enjoyed the movie. I’ll never eat an empanada again without wondering
