Give me something to watch on Netflix

The Mrs and I watched an episode of Shrinking. Pure, contrived garbage. We were shocked by how terrible and plastic the whole thing felt.

Jury Duty is ok, interesting premise. Very strong US The Office vibe.

Few episodes of Peaky Blinders left to go, yeah late for the party. Really enjoying it.

I just finished reading David Milch’s memoir so I’ll be re-watching Deadwood for the 11tieth time soon.

Burned through all of the new "Black Mirror" episodes on Netflix.

I laughed soooo hard at some moments in "Joan is Awful" (first episode) but as good as some of the episodes are, the season seems to go through a "vintage tech" phase instead of future tech, and actually wraps up in something more akin to horror than scifi. I think they meant to do this, as the last episode has "Red Mirror" on the screen.

Solid season though. :baimun:

Enjoying Silo so far.

I need to get my brother's log in to watch it. I LOVE the book series. Interested to see what they've done with it.

We can stream almost every movie and series on our Firestick after installing Cinema HD and Kodi, plus the Superman Kodi build.

We're cutting the cable this week since Xfinity keeps jacking up their prices. Fubo allows us to get more channels while saving 35%. I added the PBS app to the Firestick, completing the only missing channel.

For torrents, https://eztv.re/ has a pretty good collection.

I'm really enjoying For All Mankind right now.
In an alternative version of 1969, the Soviet Union beats the United States to the Moon, and the space race continues on for decades with still grander challenges and goals.

I slept through some of it but what I caught didn’t seem as tech oriented, which I think was a big draw. It felt realistic that way. Substitute the demon convincing somebody to kill people to prevent the apocalypse for an app doing the same thing and it would be more in keeping with the overall theme of the show.

I think they’re teasing the branching off of a separate series. “Red Mirror” that will do twists on horror tropes instead of tech.

I liked the one in london with the 1979 department store and the demon and young clerk.

That third episode of Black Mirror's new season is incredibly well acted. The ambiguous ending was a bit unsatisfying, but it does it's job in making you ask yourself what you would do.

Extraction 2 is pretty much what you'd expect, one big fight scene, but a good one with probably the best depiction of adrenaline taking over and telling your body not to process a concussion I've ever seen in a movie.

Not going to say shit about my most hated character though. I'm only 1/3 of the way in and I know this person doesn't pass the zombie apocalypse Test within their second scene.
