I have the box
Have you watched Cocaine Cowboys?
For the UKers,
started watching Bodies last night, really enjoying it. Nobody does moody dreary atmospheres like the British
Is it grim/gritty? My wife and some of my expat friends like those grim, grey, Brit crime things. Happy Valley and stuff like that. I fucking hate them, but I'll recommend it to them if it's good.
it is grim but also hyper stylised. It’s a scifi playing across several time periods in London.

Oh cool, that sounds like something I'd be interested in. I can dig the stylised stuff, like Pennyworth. But the 'detective in Huddersfield is eating fish and chips in his car and then get called to a crime scene of a young dead girl strangled with her own tights' type stuff icks me out no end. *shudder*
I just finished it. I thought it was really good. I also loved Mike Flanagan's Haunting of Hill House and Midnight Mass.Anyone watched Fall of the House of Usher yet?
I am tempted, bit wondering if I should bother
it’s more like female cop chases armed Asian boy through the streets of London during a far-right demonstration and finding a dead naked man in the street in 2023, then a 1940s cop driving through rainsoaked streets at night during a London bombing raid, then a 19th century police officer in seepia coloured London
Kinda digging Slow Horses on Apple.
British spy kinda thing.

Flamencology recommended that to me a whiles ago. It's really good.
I finally got around to HBO’s Perry Mason, and it was great. A real shame that it was canceled after 2 seasons, but worth watching anyway.
Here's the trailer. Looks like I'll have to check it out.Is it grim/gritty? My wife and some of my expat friends like those grim, grey, Brit crime things. Happy Valley and stuff like that. I fucking hate them, but I'll recommend it to them if it's good.
It's an older series, but I've been digging into Fringe for a little while now. Epic SciFi conspiracy with a generous helping of gore and a lot of humor. John Noble is excellent as Dr Walter Bishop.
