Give me something to watch on Netflix

Yeah they're doing a good job of avoiding being insufferable teens which a lot of these shows get wrong.
One of the best things about Wednesday was the cynicism taking the piss from the insufferable teens she was surrounded by.

Tim Olyphant is great in Diet. The daughter and nerd next door are pretty good too.

I absolutely loved Santa Clarita Diet and was pissed off when it got canceled. Tim and Drew were so good that they seemed like a real-life couple, and the daughter and the nerd next door are terrific. Now I'll never find out about Mr Ball Legs.

Same. Terrific casting.

I’m happy that all of the leads seem to be working with good projects. They’re all incredibly likeable actors.

Started watching Woman of the Dead, a pretty entertaining Austrian whodunnit. Pretty gruesome and grim at times

The new Velma adult cartoon has been absolutely trashed by a lot of critics and viewers, but i thought it was okay. Its very vulgar and meta, but nowhere near as bad as some reddit post would have you believe. I'm 2 episodes in and I think I'll watch all of it.

I seen that. Not watched it but it definitely stank of ott trial by social media.

Mrs JBJ was out with one of our best friends last night who casually mentioned he was in LA over the holidays and spent NYE at a party with some up and coming actress he'd never heard of....

Jenny Ortega

The new horror series The Last Of Us premiered on HBO this past Sunday. It has the dude from Narcos as the lead. It was excellent. So was the season 2 opener of Your Honor with Bryan Cranston.

I'm assuming anything that can be streamed is welcome here.

Same. Not blown away, but curious to see where it goes. People were probably just expecting an animated Wednesday.

Watched "Emily the Criminal" last night. Meh. Wasn't horrible, but nothing to particularly recommend it. It's like someone said "Hey lets spend the entire budget getting Aubrey Plaza in the movie. We don't need to worry about writing because Plaza's personality will carry the whole movie."

I watched Landmine Goes Click last night. Oh boy. Don't go into that one in a bad head space. It's pretty dark and there is an R word scene. I can't say if I liked it or not. The end hits you right in the face and then credits.

I played the game on both PS3 & PS4 ... after they entered town in the truck, the way it was shot basically copied the game exactly. I didn't know they were going to do that (I tried to avoid all trailers/spoilers to go in as clean as possible) and the deja vu was so strong it made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. It was very "WHOA!!!"

If the rest is as good as the first episode, it'll be a certified masterpiece of TV. Which is precisely what that game deserves. The remastered LoU will be released on PC in March, for anyone interested. It may be the best game I've ever played.
