Give me something to watch on Netflix

I just binged all 5 seasons of Rick and Morty on HBO. Again. I love that show so much.

I wonder how long it will take my grandson to realize that his "Pops" is scarily close to being a real life Rick Sanchez. :embarrassed:

We just started watching Kaleidoscope on Netflix.

It's an ensemble heist series with a great cast and each of the episodes is a COLOR instead of an episode number, so we started with GREEN and then YELLOW. Depending on where you live, or randomization in your Netflix queue or something... everyone is presented the episodes in a different order so some are chronological while others are flashbacks. Some of the episodes focus on different characters in the ensemble, so you try to figure out who double-crossed who... but I believe that everyone's episode order ends with Pink and then White... even though (from what I read) Pink takes places AFTER white... but White is the actual heist itself... so I'm guessing we will already know WHAT happens to some of the characters but now HOW until the end. :baimun:

Between this and the "Choose your own Adventure" of that Black Mirror special, I love that Netflix is embracing the differences of an online media source generally accessed on a mobile device or at home with a navigation type remote versus more traditional "channels".

My sister called me yesterday to ask about this. I hadn’t heard of it but she explained the premise. Seems neat. Wife is not sold on the concept just yet. If you give it a go, report your findings

Have you listened to the ASIP pod cast? I just started and if you're a fan of the show, it's worthwhile.
Yeah I’ve been watching it for a while now. It’s easy to see why the show is so good, the three of the just work so well together naturally.

Y’all R&M fans remind me to once again extol the virtues of BoJack Horseman on Netflix. Watch it! The first half of the first season is a little bit clunky, but after that it becomes uniformly great. And now that it has ended I can confidently say that it never really drops off in quality. My absolute favorite show!

I’ve tried it maybe 3 or 4 times but never make it past the first couple episodes, and I’m a huge Will Arnett fan. I don’t know why it’s never clicked for me.

Maybe read a synopsis or recaps and start in the middle of season one? It really shouldn’t be judged on the first few episodes especially, having said that if you’ve given it a fair shot then maybe you just won’t dig it…

That’s a great show. I forgot about it after one of the seasons ended… time to fix that.

I just remembered that @smurfco got me the Brisco County Jr. series for Christmas one year and I'll be watching that soon. I want to see how bad my 17 year old thinks it is or if he gets the humor.

The Glass Onion Knives Out movie was stupid, but fun.

Nowhere near as good as the first but a nice popcorn movie.

We've been watching Santa Clarita Diet. Not sure how they'll string out 3 seasons but we're both really enjoying it plus it's only 30 minute episodes which suit me.

Tim Olyphant is great in Diet. The daughter and nerd next door are pretty good too.
