Give me something to watch on Netflix

Am I the only one who is currently really really struggling to think of any kind of stylistic connection between Station Eleven and any of Wes Anderson’s movies?

I started watching What We Do in the Shadows (the series) on hulu. I liked the movie back when it came out, series seems similarly entertaining so far, not sure how long the joke can be stretched out though

I wanted to like it more than I actually did.

Started watching The Office (US) and realized that I'm just not a fan of cringe comedy. At least not when it's the whole premise of the show.

The Tender Bar is very much worth watching if you have Prime.

and how often do you get to see Batman direct Batman along with Doc Brown

That's only really the first season where they clone the UK version. It goes its own way after that and is a lot less cringy.
Thanks for that. Started again on season two. Steve Carrell is much better playing Steve Carrell and not imitating Ricky Gervais. Even if it's still cringe, it doesn't have the added feeling of watching him out of his element.

Me too! Just finished ep 2 and really liking it so far. Hope it doesn't go the way of "Lost" or something.

I just finished the season last night
I enjoyed the series but they do pull a Lost or maybe a GOT.

They did a great job building the plot & high suspense through the first 6 episodes...but then in 7 takes a detour w/ a historical flashback episode. That episode just kills all that suspense you spent the prior 6 building.

Episode 8 is pure deus ex machina; a convenience to get from where they left off in 6 to where they need to be at the end of this season to set the stage for season 2. They throw a bunch of quick & dirty explanations for a few plot points, toss in some action and call it good.

That movie was excellent.

I am currently starting at the beginning of Brooklyn Nine Nine again. I enjoyed it a bit too much.
