Give me something to watch on Netflix

I had no idea it was based on a book until after I watched the show. I had no problem following it. I was at my neighbor's last weekend watching football and his son asked me if I was watching the show and if I liked it. When I told him I finished it and liked it, he said I must not have read the books because the show blows compared to the books, then his dad and a few other people there said the same thing

After watching Game of Thrones without reading the books, following this is a cakewalk

Alternatively, my colleagues all feel like they're doing a pretty decent job of keeping true to the story given the impossible amount of detail that the books include.

As someone who hasn't read the books my biggest knock against the show is that the 5 primaries aren't espec compelling characters, with the exception of Mat.
Well, that and the pretty low budget feel of all the CGI is at times distracting.

The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window is just fucking stupid.

I an watching Archive 81. It’s weird and kind of eerie. Some great acting in it. I am enjoying it.

Also watching Katla, an Icelandic series. It’s very moody and gloomy and it’s very slow, sometimes too slow. But again, enjoying the heck out of it

I watched Relaxer last night. I think it was on Prime. What a weird movie. Like, really weird. Kind of dumb too but the 90's references kept me watching although I did fast forward a couple times and didn't feel like I had missed anything important. lol
Watch the trailer. It will tell you everything you need to know.

Me too. It's pretty good but I don't really get the Oscar hype. Not for the big ones at least. Not the best movie of the year surely?

On a related note. I finally got round to watching Godless. Pretty good and a very similar vibe to The Power Of The Dog. Just takes 8 hours to tell a similar story. Looks great throughout though.

Book of Boba Fett is exactly what my 9 year old and I wanted. The most recent episode was a Mando tie in that was incredibly enjoyable. Watching these two shows elicits the exact same feeling I had as a young lad watching shows like V and The A Team. This is the way

Was an awesome episode last week! Totally unexpected and just brilliant.

Yeah, the reviews are really good, though some found it a little saccharin. I haven't seen it yet but its on the list.

Just finished Katla. Interesting premise, great acting and plenty of gorgeous cinematography. It’s pretty slow though, so you need a bit if patience.

Continuing with Archive 81 tonight. Anyone else watching it?

I'm watching, but not passing enough attention to it. I have it as background entertainment at work.
