proof that the middle pickup on a strat is very useful!

Most of my favorite guitarists play Strats.

through the late 60's and 70's i was a gibson fucking SNOB!!
and then i discovered a whole lot of the songs that i loved were not played on gibsons.....but on strats. so one day at the local music store (1985) i bought a used strat that was on consignment (not a lot of $$). turned out to be a 1972 very yellowed olympic white strat with rosewood neck. NEVER TURNED BACK!!

I have never liked them.
They just feel wrong to me. I have owned 5 Strats,I just could not get along with them.

It's a good thing we have so many choices in guitars.

The middle pickup by itself is fine. It's the combination with other pickups where it goes astray. :embarrassed:
