New Dead box set (digital download in my case)

I've decided to keep myself focussed on something I'm going to work my way through the Guardians top 100 albums ever.

Not a fan of lists but loads of stuff on there I've never listened to all the way through.

So far today:

100: Augustus Pablo - this is augusts pablo - really good instrumental dub. This is my fave of the day so far.
99. John Lennon - Imagine - pretty good for the poor man's Ray Davies
98. Stereo MCs - Connected - good. Really takes me back to being a kid but it gets really samey after a while.

Currently working through 87: REM - Out Of Time

First positive impression - the download worked on the first attempt, and it was the same resolution they advertised. :grin: (Maybe the first time ever - and it isn't just Dead releases that have given me trouble either).

So far I have heard 2 of the 5 shows, both were very solid performances and well worth having. Highlight so far is the Help>Slip>Franklins from 6-10.

The sound quality sounds very clear so far, with no noticeable flaws. I'll want to give it some more critical listens before giving it my DeadAudioHead seal of approval.
