I almost forgot about the Indy 500.

So I finding that 6L6's pill more juice than the 6V6's. I am not sure I want to risk that on the Tweaker transformer.

I thought it was the amp with both in it and then I realized that it only has the 6v6's. I don't think I would put the 6l6s in myself.

Marc - the Rebel is the Egnater with 2 sets of power tubes. I actually sent a question out to Egnater about using 6L6's. We shall see what they come back with.

Woody, you can use any octal based tubes in the tweaker without biasing. I have used everything from 6L6, 6v6, KT88, 5881, and even EL84s with a adapter.
