WTF: The Third Installement Of The Thread About Nothing

Damn, we lost 4 firefighters today and 6 more injured in a 5 alarm hotel fire when a section collapsed. Even though I haven't been in a department in a while, it still hits like a sledge hammer in the chest.
:(
Yeah, that's hard. Those are good men.
Bad men make headlines all the time. When good men make the headlines, it's usually because something bad happened to them.

Are you gonna eat that?

Sorry to hear that. Sad.

OK - I got lots of pictures today.

First the Schecter Solo 6 Standard Goldtop. The pup's are kind of dark, but I like them. Comfy guitar to play with easy reach to the upper registers.

Then a trade I made yesterday. My Bandit red stripe for a new Vypyr VIP2. All SS Modeling amp. 40 Watts and 12" speaker. Just started messing around with this. The AC15/30 voice is disappointing, but many of the other voices are very nice. All the Fender voices are useable. The Marshalls are nice, and the Buther and Classic 30 voices are really nice. I think the Classic 30 voices are my fav so far.

Nice Woody! I have been lookin at that Peavey modeling amp pretty hard. I love ma tubes but I want something that I could gig with that has a ton of sounds in it. I've been looking at the POD HD line but for a couple hundred bucks I dunno if you can beat the Peavey.

I really like the Schecter, Woody. I was tempted to order one of those from Hello Music. But I'm not buying guitars right now. Maybe tomorrow.

Alex - I have only gone about 1/2 thru the first bank on the first electric guitar port, and there are 2 electric guitar ports, and each port has 4 banks, and each voice has three variations, clean, crunch and high gain. Some of the voices can get kind of brittle, but there are some pretty nice clean tones, and yeah it is hard to beat the versatility. 40 SS watts is probably OK for small halls. But to me is is very loud for 40 watts. I have my master set at 3 and that is very loud for home use at 3.

I saw that Jazz master too. But passed.

So I took the day off from work. So far I have vacumed the living room, and mopped the kitchen floor. I know I am out of control.

I picked up one of my Heritages and decided that I don't need the Jazzmaster. I cancelled my order.

I think that was wise.

I took a nap. Slept for about an hour. If I sleep longer I will not sleep tonight. I turned on "Newlyweds". Have never seen it before. I heard it was good. So I'm giving it a try. I will give Sasha a walk shortly.

If those Jazzys were available in something other than black I might have considered one.

PK, 2 days without buying a new guitar. The one day at a time concept works.

Yes, it does. I have to use it with more than guitar buying. Not choking family members is the other part of my life where I use it.
