So I have made it around the dial on the first electric guitar port on the first (red) bank on the Peavey Vypyr VIP. My impressions so far: the Fender tones are actually pretty amazing. The ac15 on this bank disappointing (but I think there is a better Box on another bank). The Marshall tones are a bit synthetic but useable. The Butcher is nice, as well as the Buddha. 6505 is over the top, and in a way the 6534 is too, but I really like it. So over all, just from this first bank - about 1/3 of the voices are kind of synthetic, 1/3 are at least useable, 1/3 are really impressive.
 
had to take advantage of the Fathers Day code for $50 off $299 or more. Thats a good code..... NAD soon... although I would rather buy it from sweetwater.. think they will match the code?
 
evening all! i ain't dead yet. just been reeeeaaaallllyyyy busy with the band, work, and the family. i did however manage a NGD a few weeks ago. in fact, i already have Ken working on some pups for it. it's a Devlin Interceptor. got it uber cheap. so i can afford to mod it a little

 
since the HC fiasco, i cut back on forum time. now that things are slightly slowing down at work, i have a little more liesure time.
 
Now I'm going to be selling a few Artcores. Let me know if any of you are interested. I have 2 AM73s, a AXD81, and a AF53. I haven't decided if I'm going to sell my AM93. I might keep that one.
