Recommend something on netflix...

This phrase doesn’t make sense to me.

It’s like saying “well, it’s not as great as The Godfather Part II or The Godfather Part III, but...”

Certainly, there's no accounting for taste.

I didn't think Godfather I or II was all that, but from what I understand, II was generally considered to be as good as the first.

Just watched the Chicago documentary. Highly worth watching. I never realized that Peter Cetara was an original member. I thought he was brought in as a singer when Kath died.

Also highly recommended is "The Strange Calls". Kind of like what it would be like if Monty Python had made a few episodes of "Sherlock".

Big Mouth is hilarious. I thought that it was mentioned here but didn't see the post so, here it is!

Animated but it is all about the characters and how hormones attack young people & the struggle surrounding that.

Black Mirror - I watched all of the original two seasons and was worried that the Netflix version wouldn't be as good. I watched the Space Fleet episode (first of season four) and it looks like it's still a great show.

White Bear and Fifteen Million Merits are still my favorite episodes.

White Bear and the military one with the "roaches" from s.3 (???Man on Fire??) were the ones that really got me.

I know this has been mentioned but....The Punisher.

Only 1 season so far but i enjoyed it immensely.

Being an ex marine myself that had to do secret assassinations in Afghanistan and then they killed my entire family when I knew 'too much' it really brought it all home.

Ok I'm kidding about the above but its a good series, with some outstanding acting.

I watched Infinity Chamber last night. Pretty good stuff. Kind of like Donny Darko, you'll be wondering for weeks what really happened in the movie.

Do not watch Voyeur. You'll feel the constant need to take a shower for days afterward to wash the ick off. Not to mention that Gay Talese and the voyeur guy are perhaps the two most self-centered, self aggrandizing, full of shit, and hugely annoying people in the entire world

I watched most of episode 1, but it draaaaaaaggggggggggggs on SO slow. When I realized there were 6 episodes, I bailed.
Yeah, some of it could have been left in editing room. A lot, actually. But the story was compelling enough for me to keep going. At first I was put off by how stylized it was and the use of the movie-within-a-movie thing. But it works and the story is bleak as hell.
