I think this is the biggest weakness of our Constitution. While the three branches of government are supposed to provide checks and balances against each other, the judicial branch is limited to being passive and reactive. If the executive and legislative branches are in cahoots, there is no mechanism for initiating action against either.

They may be able to bring things to light, but unless they (or someone they represent) has legal standing, they can't get action initiated.

So, for example, the ACLU cannot bring a lawsuit to have Sessions removed from his position for committing perjury because they can't show direct harm.
 
God damn everything is spin. And tremendously bad spin at that.

They really need to hire better writers, but they're probably all liberal elitists :embarrassed:
