SNL seems to be hellbent on making up for Trump being on the show when he shouldn't have been. I wanted to write the show off, but they are really putting it to fuckface-elect.

Russian ambassador has been shot and critically injured in an assassination attempt in Turkey.

So begins WW3.

So Vincent Viola for Secretary of the Army. Not sure if anyone told Trump, but this guy graduated from West Point and served in the 101st Airborne. He has supported the Army Cyber Institute and Modern Warfare Institute. He may actually be qualified for this post. Trump needs to be alerted right away so he can nominate Col. Saunders for it.

Can I ask a question? As I'm watching the Ohio state electoral college do their thing they are having someone give a benediction. Isn't there supposed to be a separation of church and state or is that just when people complain?

These people don't believe in the separation of church and states since it's not written in by the Founding Fathers in the constitution. But hey, Jesus loves everyone, even if his daddy will condemn everyone who doesn't believe exactly what they believe to a burning pit for eternity, which is kinda like getting into politics.

The Supreme Court has held that there's an exemption when it comes to situations like that in a nod to a 'tradition' of State governing bodies opening a proceeding with a prayer in Marsh v. Chambers

The Marsh decision carved out a narrow exception to the Establishment Clause, as well as established Court doctrine, as a nod to history and custom; however, the Court made clear that “Standing alone, historical patterns cannot justify contemporary violations of constitutional guarantees . . . ” Marsh, 463 U.S. at 790. In the Court's language:

To invoke Divine guidance on a public body entrusted with making the laws is not, in these circumstances, an “establishment” of religion or a step toward establishment; it is simply a tolerable acknowledgment of beliefs widely held among the people of this country.

Pretty much. Welcome to Ohio.

Yeah, I just saw the update. Hopefully they hit Midtown instead of the Financial District. I'll be out quicker that way.

Why would the Russians take us out over this? I mean they just got their boy elected, we should be safe. After all, how else will Putin and his buddy Trump team up to take out all the brown people.

All it takes is one Twitter comment.

How about a nice game of chess?
