The religious right LOVES Ben Carson, so they wanted to get him in there somewhere. I doubt his ability to run the agency had much to do with it...

Of course Carrier just raised prices. Every redneck HVAC contractor in America is going to be pushing Carrier products now. They should offer a premium MAGA special painted red, white, and blue with a fan that displays a swastika when it runs at full speed.
 
the dumpster administration is (among other things) going to bring all the back door corporate political deals out in the open and make them business of the day.
companies will be competing for the deals. maybe dumpster will turn it into a bidding war.

(washington, jefferson, madison, monroe, franklin must be spinning like a jet engine)
