I might fly in to DC a few days early and go to some shows earlier in the week and then drive my rental car to Heelyfest, er I mean Barnstorm

I don't believe I will make it. Have to fly to Minnesota at the end of September for my nieces wedding. Her wedding falls right in my semi-annual visit home for family things.

However was looking at ticket prices just in case....hence my search. I too would love to look around as well.

Southwest has sales all the time, and October is still a ways away. Just keep your eyes open.

Tried to check for the fun of it out of LB to Dulles (heck I live in LB). Those dates were unavailable....

Surprisingly the price was up in the high 5's as well.

It isn't a direct flight anymore. My brother in law takes it every month with a layover in Boston or NYC. I think it is usually around $300.

So are we set on a date? I have a friend who used to play drums in a band of mine who most likely would love to come. That would give eloy a break from drums. He is super cool, from the Czech Republic and just loves making music. I may see him tomorrow a the Deftones if not, he is going to Hum with us next month, I can ask him to come out for Saturday night.

Ok, 10/16-10-18 it is. For those that need to arrive Thurs and/or leave Monday, that's cool.

I don't know how yall pick the songs to work on ahead of time, but I wanted to throw this out there. I've never played it, but I'd like to learn it.

We've always made song suggestions ahead of time, and then nobody learned them, so we either winged it or didn't try it.

I should be able to at least make it out really late Friday night and leave on Sunday.

Song suggestions will be about the only way I get to play some songs because I'm really terrible at playing guitar.

Sounds good!

Also, I don't have a PA (or any equipment really aside from guitar and amps). So for folks that are driving, let me know if you're able to bring some gear.

I can bring some stuff. I'd rather not bring the whole PA, since I'd have to borrow pieces and haul them, but if it comes down to it, I could put a PA together.

I don't think I've ever played that but I have played Here Comes Your Man and Debaser. Shouldn't be too tough.
