I am with you. There are a few DC Weiners that should stop by at least for a couple of hours Saturday. I mean it's not that often you get to hang with me and eloy at the same time

I pretty much fall into this category, and have held off committing mostly because my wife and I are leaving for a vacation on the following Monday and I have a ton of stuff to get done before we go. If Barnstorm is a Go, I'll do my best to stop by for at least a few hours on Saturday.

The first Pragestock was quite small and was still awesome. I think aside from Prages and the locals there were 5 of us. Phil, Tele, Ahzz, Chilili, and me.

I guess Tele hadn't arrived yet.

OK, now that we've settled on actually having the event, it's time to turn our thoughts to our gear lists...

At this time I'm probably going to be bringing:
My partstrat super strat
My G&L
(both brought last year as well)
My pedalboard
My PRS SE30 head
AT LEAST 1 or maybe both 1x12s

I'm still debating those choices, and may toss an acoustic in there as well...

Because of my fucked up diet I'm probably going to bring a bunch of my own supplies as well, along with a gallon of 1% milk and a case of water...

OK, here's what I have...

like 6 amps.
around 8 guitars.
even more pedals.
several stands.
one mic. :)
casio keyboard.

I still have yet to hear from my boarder w/r/t a PA. I'll try to find out for sure this week, but I don't really want her dad's full band to show up and just dominate the time. Will let you know more when I know it.

When you guys get here, we can make the decision as to whether we should set up in the house or the barn. If we have a bunch of people, which we still might, then the barn would be great. If not, then the house would certainly be a lot easier. We could set up in the living room which is a really nice space, albeit a bit small.

I'll b bringing both my guitars, my bass, amp, pedal board, mic and stand, bass amp and mixer. If smurfco doesn't make it, we can run the bass and vocals through the mixer and into the bass amp. I don't know about the rest of you, but I can't sing a note to save my life so it won't make my voice sound any worse

yeah, defs NO mic for me.

So...here's something I'll just throw out there.

My father-in-law turned 50 yesterday, which is why I'm a bit slow at work today. Anyhoo, he's having a blowout party at his house on the water Barn Storm Saturday. He's going to have 2-3 bands performing, and he's offered the stage to barnstormers between, or even during, sets. Naturally, he'll have all the PA gear there we could want.

It's certainly not imperative that we go, but there's going to be a shit ton of food and booze, so just throwing it out there. Chad could drive. But yeah, y'all think about it, and we can discuss as we get closer. Could be something we hit up for an hour, longer, or not at all.

Lmao. I'm imagining the "introduction" conversations that would happen.

"Yeah. We met online."

But I'd be down. I'm hesitant to play in front of people with no practice. But if we can work on one song on Friday or early Saturday, and it sounds good, and the other bands aren't groups full of micwalts, then I'd be cool playing one or two, haha.

or we could just go booze up for a while and come back. or not go at all. I literally have no guitar ability. none. I can play the cowboy chords and noodle a bit on the ol' pentatonic, but I'm truly horrible at playing guitar. My skill lies in buying them. cough post-rock lawyer cough
