I'm OK with whatever the group decides. I like playing. I like listening. I like drinking. I like sex dungeons. I like meeting new people. I like lamp.

... not necessarily in that order.

it's not looking good for me. i've taken this entire week off of work, and I just realized that our mandatory off-site training is the following week, so I don't think I'm going to be able to get the time off after all. Sorry gang, I really wanted to go but I just don't think it's in the cards this year.

Man its this weekend. I guess i should start getting stuff together.

Oh, and the guy I was bringing can't make it after all. So it will just be me. That means I am free to leave anytime on Friday. Will probably try to time it so I'm going through Northern VA and DC areas during n0n-rush hours. Any suggestions on routes and times? Will be coming up 95 from Richmond. Also, I'm not sure if you specified the address yet? Prages usually PMs (for obvious reasons) rather than posting, so if you could do that at some point this week that would be appreciated.

Thanks and see you guys in just a few days! It should be a fun, chill weekend.

The easiest route would be 95 to 495 but depending on the time you leave who knows. I would think anytime between 10 and 2 should be fine because most of the traffic will be going 95 south after 10.

So the local PA isn't going to happen. Evidently transporting it is a problem...

I think we can handle it through my bass rig. It looks like we aren't going to have anyone who considers themselves a singer anyways, so it may be better if the vocals are a little low in the mix  If I have to sing at all you all will be like it more if you can't hear them at all.

Thanks for the info. I'll probably try to hit Northern VA around 1 or so, then stop for a bite to eat after I'm "in the clear."

The bass rig sounds sufficient to me. I think vocals will mostly be used for queues as to where we are in the song this weekend, haha. It doesn't sound like we're going to be trying to record a demo here. I'm still willing to bring some speakers, but that does save me from lugging those 100lbs beasts from upstairs to my car. I'm still willing to if we want, though.

But, if I'm not needing to bring speakers or a mixer, then I am still planning on:
Drum set
A microphone or two (unless these will be covered too)

I can bring (if there's any interest):
Fender Jazz Bass
Micro Korg Synth
Roland Electric Piano (I can't really play, but if anybody else can...)
Small Yamaha mixer

Just let me know.

FYI...I'm planning on being on the road by 7am...6 hour drive will put me there around 1:embarrassed:0...

@Guitar Heel
Would it be possible to have a gallon of 1% milk in the fridge, or should I find a place to pick one up on my way in? I'm still on the protein shake diet twice a day...
