What Will You Not Miss At All About HC?

I just read the first page of this thread and found rather harsh words from several posters towards Bonenut. I must have missed something because BN (alias electric blues) has long been one of my favorite people at HC. We are good buddies and I have always enjoyed my interaction with him. Strange how we perceive people differently on a forum.

Maybe he was different in EG, but a few weeks ago he started venturing into GJ (prior to 2.0) and was a right dick to quite a few of the regulars there. Not the smartest move really. :wink:
He was a bit too cocky for a new guy in that place - nobody likes that much. The photography thread in GJ comes to mind.

I have no problem with him, but I can understand those who do. :embarrassed:

It's actually kind of scary how more relaxed I was on HC after I stopped posting in there.

i won't miss the trolls and the people who invested so much energy in arguing. It seems like we've got a good bunch over here.

Hopefully a few more guys (strings, krashpad etc...) will jump ship too.

That sounds like the plot to a movie. In fact, have you ever seen the movie, "Swingers?" I get your point. I'm sure this stuff will eventually settle down. Meanwhile, I think we better break out the cheese.....because I doubt we're anywhere near to exhausting the supply of whine. :grin:
 
I don't understand the hand-wringing going on about HC. They really screwed the pooch, in more ways than one. Simply time to move on. Besides, when the place turns into a ghost town, that will be their just desserts. I left the end of last year, before this fiasco ever happened. Too much vitriol, and bashing for my taste.

Scheduled Maintenance. I wonder if they pulled the plug or it just went into cardiac arrest on its own? Maybe a disgruntled member hacked it. :embarrassed:

Obviously, some people must have had a bad experiences with EB/BN at HC. With some of the things he's posted lately, I can't say I'm shocked.

Personally, I've never seen him post anything egregious until recently. Basically, he said FUCK anybody who hasn't stayed at HC!

I'd still be fine if he joined us here, although I doubt that will happen. If he has an unforgivable dark side, I've missed it. Maybe, he just needs to relax more and not take internet life so seriously. :shrug:
