You'll find that most of the folks you might not get along with on GJ are actually pretty nice here. It might have something to do with my "Immediate and Permanent" banning policies
Actually I get along with 95% of the folks over there and I think that since this is my place and it represents my business in real life they don't want to cause me any problems. The one person who couldn't remember that was Derivicus and he was permabanned in December.

Maybe I just completely misread the subtext, but neither JJ nor Uma's trolls ever struck me as malicious in the least. It was the Sam and Ralph shtick.
They were bored, half-clever, and they knew how to wind up people who didn't know better. Uma in particular always came across as transparently absurd and it baffled me that anyone would take either of them seriously. I could be wrong; it certainly wouldn't be the first time.

JJ and I did the Sam and Ralph thing half-kiddingly for years. I think we both got mostly tired of it. Uma was doing some Eastwood-type vintage trolling reissue stuff.

WTF are you talking about, on any of those counts? I've not really seen any corksniffery going on here, and I have no problem typing. I actually wasn't aware that a website could affect ones typing speed.

Anyone who appreciates expensive gear MUST be a cork sniffer. They couldn't possibly appreciate the feel of a high dollar guitar or the sound of a pricey amp without being some kind of elitist.
