It's absurd that Larry Williams still isn't in the so-called Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Absolutely. It's a hell of an oversight.

Awesome, I’ll def. be checking it out and I’m sure will be adding some of those songsThanks. Those are two good ones you've posted!
We had a thread a while back about psychedelic music and there was a ton of great tracks in it. Here's the link:

That one’s on my oldies and psych playlists, so good!
Shifting into some darker territory today, pretty gloomy/rainy here.
I’ve worn out several LP copies…Juju, Kaleidoscope, Nocturne in particular. And still have my VHS of Nocturne! Love that one and the earlier Koln concert bootleg w/McGeoch on guitar. I recently bought his biography, need to get reading it soon! Very big fan of the earlier Magazine stuff as well.So good! I wore out Juju on cassette back in the day, I played it to destruction. I used to have the Nocturne concert (with Robert Smith on guitar) on video cassette and watched it so many times too.

He was absolutely the best (although I think John McKay is often overlooked, very influential also), his playing was coming from a completely different/abstract place…which makes sense as he was an artist/painter etc. I’ve seen Adrian’s vids before, very cool to see it all up close, heavy emphasis on arpeggios which always struck a chord with me (no pun haha). I believe he posts on the John FB group from time to time, John’s daughter is on there too. I never got much into the PIL stuff later on, but love everything else he did.John McGeoch was terrific, the best Banshees guitarist IMO. The youtube guitar guy Adrian (anyonecanplayguitar) has done a bunch of McGeoch lessons, and going through them you he really shows how McGeoch had a very creative, individual style.
That was mental!
