I'm thinking a Tumnus or an Archer myself...but the Vertex Dumble clones really sound good as well...that whole low-gain OD region is tricky as hell for me...
The Tumnus and Archer are solid choices.

Don't give Vertex money for what's probably somebody else's pedal with his stickers on it.I'm thinking a Tumnus or an Archer myself...but the Vertex Dumble clones really sound good as well...that whole low-gain OD region is tricky as hell for me...

That’s a Pedaltrain 2 I think. It’s currently in my attic.@Mark Wein what are the dimensions of this board? Is it a specific brand/model?
Most people have given that guy a pass but there are enough other good sounding pedals out there I don’t need to give him money.Don't give Vertex money for what's probably somebody else's pedal with his stickers on it.

Just the board, not the pedals.

I didn't want to sell it since I end up needing extra boards of different sizes every once in a while. I've already sold and rebought one this size twice.
I think so. My big board is the "Pro" and I have a Mini and a Nano. I don't have any of the current series of boards I think. Is that equivalent in size to their Classic 2?
I've never had a fuzz pedal and am thinking of getting one. Who is using one and which one. Those that have any pros or cons? Thanks.

Fuzz is a crazy world, so many to choose from. What kind of fuzz tone are you going for?
Well this is a loaded question. So here's another. Is there a certain recording you can point to and say "I want that fuzz tone"? Because there's 9 billion fuzzes out there.
That is why I am confused. Many of the different fuzzes all have good tones. I did see the JHS Muffuletta which incorporates different fuzzes. It seems like a greatest hits album. Most of the good stuff but something missing.
Fuzz Face, Tone Bender, Maestro FZ1, Mosrite Fuzzrite, Univox Sper Fuzz and that's just the 60s.What would another option other than a Big Muff style be?
