New authority wide school time tables = shorter lunch breaks but clocking off at 1.10 on Friday :grin:

I had a very nice afternoon nap there.

Not much planned for the weekend.

karaokeing tonight and I'm excited that I get to break out my ShiteShirt for the masses for the first time.

Karaokeing at a house party tomorrow. This has the potential to either be brilliant or a complete cluster fuck.

Sunday I'll probably just chill out, few beers, catch the football and so on.
 
Just dug up 5 giant bushes in my front yard. Traded the neighbors kid an hour worth of guitar lessons for his help. Mum and I weeded out the rest of the beds and now we're off to Natorps to look at some new options. :)
 
I'm just looking forward to going home and seeing if the roofers did anything today. :embarrassed:

I did get a pleasant surprise this morning.

Lino left his cooler at the house after Pragestock. It's one of the round coolers that you can fill with water and it has a dispenser on the bottom.

So, I figured I'd fill it with ice water and leave it out for the roofers. Picked it up, and it was full of beer. :embarrassed: It was Bud Light, but it was beer...and now it's mine.

Bud Light barely qualifies are beer - but it technically is. But the whole free aspect is good. Very good. Any bourbon left??

Other than a run tomorrow morning I don't have a dang thing planned all weekend. I do need to run over a few songs for the rock band though (Monday rehearsal). It should be a fairly laid back weekend.
 
I should start running again (with all my spare energy and all my spare time). It's been a long time, though :embarrassed:

There's still about 1/4 bottle of the Knob Creek. I don't really care for it, but I've been having a swig or two every night before going to bed. :embarrassed:
 
Our weekend plans are up in the air. Weather is supposed to be nice tomorrow, though it's supposed to get hot in the afternoon, and Mrs. P has to log in to run a job at 3:embarrassed:0. We'll probably do something like a long hike or something in the morning, then maybe do something after she finishes her job. Haven't decided what.

Sunday it's supposed to rain, so I'll probably work on some recording or something.

Right now I'm thinking an ornamental tree by the door, some ground cover, and then a bunch of garden gnomes. :grin:

Well last night was fairly terrible.

It amazes me how some businesses can stay in business when they have absolutely no consideration for their customers and run it like theiir hobby.

Hopefully this house party will be fun tonight. Turns out a last minute call to do a wedding in Sunderland down in England came in to the agency yeste4rday, great money + gas money, dinner and a room at the wedding venue which is a 5* hotel.

I tried to worm my way on to that one but he said since I'd been specifically asked for the house party person I had to do that :(

Going a bike run tomorrow with my mate. We're going to do a Glasgow to Edinburgh 52 miles ina few weeks for charity so we need to start putting some real miles in.

But seriously, good luck to those of you on the coast, hopefully it goes east out to sea and you don't have to deal with what they're predicting.

Tonight I'm hanging out with the gf, celebrating her new job with some champagne and homemade dinner then watch the Phils game.

Tomorrow I'm going to my buddy's house, riding 4-wheelers, shooting off some fireworks and probably drinking too much. :embarrassed:

Sunday is a picnic at my mom's house (great day for a picnic!) and then just chilling at the house for my b-day.
 
Sister's birthday today, so we're having lunch. Tonite I'm going to audition a drummer, as our band leader fired the drummer and the bass player for a "lack of commitment." :facepalm: I also need to work on tracks for Gary and work on my coverfest entries.
