I'm still on antibiotics or I'd be looking at my bottle of Buffalo Trace pretty hard this evening. Gotta shoot a bunch of video today if I can find the power cable for the camera. If not I'm going camera shopping this morning

I had a nice glass of Buffalo Trace last night, great bourbon for any price let alone how relatively cheap it is.

I don't have much planned for this weekend. Hanging out with 1drummer a bit - which usually starts as a short jam session but then quickly devloves into just drinking beer and BSing, which is also fine. Going to plant some things in the garden - it's still about 2 weeks before our last frost date, but the 10 day forecast is looking good so what the heck.

That's about it. Supposed to be pretty rainy here or I'd consider some fishing/kayaking.

My wife bought me a giant bottle about a month ago. It's sitting there on the counter (too big to go in the cabinet :embarrassed:) taunting me. :(

LMA is partnering with a local restaurant and putting on a "Cabernet Cabaret." I'm in a supremely bad mood because to avoid performing in it, I have to run sound, so I'll be schlubbing equipment to the venue, wiring everything up and then going to teach lessons, run back home and "dress presentably." Yeah, I have to get dressed up to run the goddamn soundboard and on top of that I have NO idea where my "dress" clothes are. In some box in the garage probably.

I am thinking you should go for something like this.

Tonight I need to work on several songs we dusted off the shelf for this weekends gig. And learn the words to 'Summer Of '69' since the usual vocalist for that tune (drummer) won't be there.

Saturday I have a run in the AM, then we have a big gig at a charity dinner. We play from 5:embarrassed:0 - 8:embarrassed:0, then 9:30 - 10:30 so this is going to be a long gig.

Sunday - I'm not sure yet....

Life sucks man. No man should ever be required to dress nicely.

I'm so glad that we understand each other!

We don't, I'm dressed today what I would consider "fairly casual" so I'm wearing a Pierre Cardin button down shirt, a pair of vintage dark green cotton slacks and Johnston and Murphy wingtips.

You'd think a guy whose Mom asked him to dress nice for an event that is presumably intended to get parents to send their kids to her school wouldn't complain at all about it. But... I'm just sayin'.

:cop:

I think me and Phil should head over to "Cruisin' Grand" tonight and check out the cars before indulging in hot wings and beer...

Oh snap! Canceled due to weather. Well, there's still beer.

 One of these days we'll definitely have to do that. Today im getting off at 2:30, and i just want to get my ass home asap. :embarrassed:

But we'll keep that in mind. That would be fun, and probably have some great pics for the car forum.

Absolutely!

That's not what the event is for. Plus hauling and setting up a PA isn't really a "nice clothes" kinda job. Especially since I'll be sitting in a corner where no one but the performers can see me.

Right now I'm wearing light khaki cargo shorts and a navy blue henley. And a comfortable pair of sneakers. Bliss!

I used to dress nice for work, but in addition to doing engineering stuff, i also am the mechanic/maintenance/production engineer, and kept completely wrecking my clothes. So i gave up and just dress crappy. :embarrassed:

Tonight, pick up pizza, go to lowes for tapcons, hang a cabinet in the basement, play some guitar, watch a movie,

Saturday, put up soffit and fascia on the room that I put the tin roof on, night, play at the swpa blues competition at clarion hotel in greentree. Wish me luck.

Sunday, I'm sure more chores around the house, play guitar.

That's about all I know so far.
