Tonight, pick up pizza, go to lowes for tapcons, hang a cabinet in the basement, play some guitar, watch a movie,

Saturday, put up soffit and fascia on the room that I put the tin roof on, night, play at the swpa blues competition at clarion hotel in greentree. Wish me luck.

Sunday, I'm sure more chores around the house, play guitar.

That's about all I know so far.

Good luck! I hope you blow them away!

Puttin my zootiest zoot suit and going to a charity seafood gala.
I hope the pants still fit. It's been a year.

:P

Not really my kinda thing but the food will be good. Did I mention that I don't eat seafood?

I used to dress nice for work, but in addition to doing engineering stuff, i also am the mechanic/maintenance/production engineer, and kept completely wrecking my clothes. So i gave up and just dress crappy. :embarrassed:

There are certain things I don't mind dressing up for. Running the PA is not one of those.

Tonight Mrs. Hump has a show so I'm going to bounce down some recordings from rehearsal the other night and then probably bounce around between the Black Hawks, Cubs and Bulls games.

Tomorrow I gotta take Mrs. Hump out to breakfast, plant a bunch of grass seed in my back yard, pick up the dry cleaning, lift the weights at the Y and grill for dinner. Sunday I'm going to paint the trim on my back porch, go back to the Y to play racquetball, maybe take the dog to the park if it's not raining, and then take Mrs. Hump out to dinner and afterwards go see one guys in my bands solo band.

That's the plan at least. Tonight and tomorrow I won't be dressed up, Sunday night I will because I'm going out.

We don't, I'm dressed today what I would consider "fairly casual" so I'm wearing a Pierre Cardin button down shirt, a pair of vintage dark green cotton slacks and Johnston and Murphy wingtips.

You always dress up. I sit in front of a computer screen all day in the back of the office building. I'm in jeans and a long sleeved t-shirt. I do have nice running shoes on though....

I had a nice glass of Buffalo Trace last night, great bourbon for any price let alone how relatively cheap it is.

The bourbon I'm addicted to is woodford reserve. Too expensive to buy on a regular basis though.,,

No big deal. Hopefully somebody thought of that and provided some turf to go along with all the surf they are serving. As for myself, I will be supping on about 5 pounds of steamer clams, dipped in melted butter... washed down with copious amounts of Harpoon IPA. My better half is going out straight after work for her best freind's birthday dinner. With any kind of luck, I'll not be too far sloshed when she gets home and I'll be able to service her properly. :vic:

I have tried many seafoods.
I tend to try them when I'm local to where they come from.

Mussels in Halifax - I ate a whole pound of em

Lobster in Maine - tasted it.

I actually did have a king crab keg last night. It was pretty tasty, actually.

What helped though is that it's a pretty meaty seafood in terms of texture.

That's really what kills food for me most of the time - texture.

They had a good assortment of fish as well as a chicken dish and braised short ribs.

I didn't go hungry. :P
Friggin wide open bar and I didn't have drive because we also had a room at the Hilton across the street.
WHEEEEEE!

The only scotch they had was Dewar's though. Which is okay but well, I'm a bit if a cork sniffer for scotch. :P

They get ya all juiced up and then they start the charity auction.

I stuck to a few things in the silent auction and was outbid.

I've got a dentist appointment at noon, so 11:30ish I'll be on the valium train...

Then it's lessons in the afternoon and depending on the weather I might mow my yard for the first time.

Tonight we're having a friend over that just got back from a cross-country trip all over the US, so he should have a few good stories and pictures. Probably just cook out on the grill and have a few beers... low key.

Tomorrow is my buddy's bachelor party, and we're making a day of it. Going bowling before dinner (he likes to bowl... so do I. :embarrassed:) then hitting up dinner. Afterward it's right to the strip club where some Penthouse pet of the year is making an appearance, then out to the bar if my buddy isn't too shitfaced. He probably will be, hardly ever drinks.

Sunday is recovery day, maybe do some laundry. The gf is cooking a roast so that'll be nice, other than that I'll surely be a worthless sack of crap all day.

Got home from the airport at 1am last night and after almost 2 solid weeks of late nights and boozing I'm still pretty tired.

Spent the morning on the phone to the taxman

DJing tonight and tomorrow. It's my future sis in laws birthday and theyre having a party tomorrow but the way it's going I might stay off the booze once I finally get to the party.

I'm stopping at the liquor store on the way home and picking up a 12 pack of beer and a fifth of Boulliet and then going home to play guitar for a while and then one of my breauxs is coming over about 8:30 and we are going to watch the Blackhawks/Canucks game.

Mrs W is home today and its the last day of sprng break for my son so we went to IHOP for breakfast, now I'm at work (with Jack) for a few hours and then we're hangning out the rest of the day...tomorrow I have to work and then play a wedding in Dana Point and Sunday is the Orange Plaza Car show...

I went to the cardiologist this morning and got some meds switched. I was taking one that had no generic and it was killing my funds. I am working tonight so not much there. My folks are coming to visit and should be here sometime tomorrow so they will be taking up most of my weekend. I am hoping to get to do some bass playing at some point this weekend.
