I'll take that as an invitation to discuss my weekend plans:

Tonight - make burgers on the grill for 1W and her 2 friends, who will then proceed to practice some Brazillian song and dance routine for some Brazillian cultural event where they're performing. I'm hoping that it turns into some kind of makeout contest or possibly tickle fight. Probably won't.

Tomorrow - getting up early for a long day of canoing, fishing, drinking beer, and general shennanigans with 2 of my old high school buddies. Always a great time.

Sunday - who knows.

I could go for some water sporting soon. I haven't been kayaking in almost a year.


I have a jammed packed weekend full of not wearing shoes, being quite and enjoying not having to be anywhere or do anything.

Tonight: run some errands, pick up a case of beer and chill.

Tomorrow: maybe hit some golf balls, clean up around the house a little, then dinner with the family for my dad's b-day.

Sunday: who knows, hopefully golf if it's not too hot. No real plans this weekend. :embarrassed:
 
I'm tired. It's hot and humid like Florida here. oy vey.

I have an outdoor wedding to play (wearing a suit) that is probably going to kill me.
 
Tonight- Pick up a case of beer. Then grilling, chilling, corn on the cobbing, probably drinking several of said beers out of a cooler full of ice. 75% chance of scattered hammockry.

Tomorrow - Not sure for most of the day. Heading to a birthday party for 1W's friend tomorrow night that usually results in some form of random jam session. I'm bringing the bass since there usually isn't a bass player.

Sunday - ?
 
More not wearing shoes, going to explore the LA River and get my GF a new cell phone tomorrow. Maybe go to the first ever Dodger Stadium swap meet. Might get my nose pierced if the moment strikes me.

Is there any section of the LA River left that is still worth exploring? I know there is a section in the SF Valley that still has some trails...

In the recent years there has been a lot of restoration and "greening" of the area. There are supposed to be some really nice parts of it now, so I'll start at Rattlesnake Park and move from there. If anyone else has been down there and has an opinion please let me know if I am wasting my time.

I love Guinness in any season. If I could afford it, it would accompany my every meal.

But yes, as I've mentioned a few times before, one of the reasons I love fall/winter is because they're the seasons of hearty food and strong drink. :love:
 
Everything I've had planned for the weekend is off. Even for today. Might have to take my computer in for service, though.

Tonight I'm going to see Inception with 2man and his wife.

Tomorrow I'm going to my gf's family picnic, or "crab fest" if you will. They celebrate a few b-days by getting a ton of crab and other food, I'll be bringing the Yuengling.

Sunday I'm golfing with my brother in law, hopefully it's not so stinking hot.

Sounds like you have a pretty cool weekend ahead of you.

My iMac (which gets used about 10 hours a day 6 days a week at work( started getting hung up and slowing down. Made me think I was running a PC with some sort of virus. I've reinstalled the OS twice and it's still running like shit which leads me to believe maybe there is a hardware issue....maybe bad memory or a hard drive or something.
 
Tonight - pretty well covered by Fenderpusher (Check your PM's)

Tomorrow and Sunday - don't know. I was going to put in a concrete walkway with one of those quickrete walkmaker things, but it's gonna be about 100 degrees. The last thing I want to be doing is digging up the yard, shoveling stone, and mixing concrete. So I'll probably just chillax. Possibly put in 2 little replacement windows in the basement.
